Will "The Walking Dead" Ever Die?

The Walking Dead has lost its direction for some time now. Negan is the best character left in the show and the writers have no clue what to do with him - - - or for that matter what to do with anyone in the cast. But the fans keep hanging in there.

“The Walking Dead” returned from its midseason break in steady fashion Sunday night.
The AMC zombie series won the night with a 2.0 rating in adults 18-49 and 5.16 million viewers, even with its midseason finale back in November. The network’s “Walking Dead” after show, “Talking Dead,” also landed in the night’s top 3, with a 0.8 and 2.31 million viewers.
