Marines Who Decline Killshot Will Loose Pension

And Trump Says NOTHING
  • Is Trump and the spineless and brainless GOP going to say Jack Shit about anything? or are they just let the people get gang raped by the Marxist Medical Police State?

(Free Beacon)  Marines will lose their pensions, tuition assistance, and access to the G.I. bill, along with other military benefits, if they refuse the COVID-19 vaccination, according to internal emails reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon.

An Aug. 18 email from Col. Teague Pastel, a commanding officer at the Marine Barracks in Washington, D.C., told colleagues that although "vaccines are still voluntary," the military believes "they will become mandatory in the near future." The penalties for refusing the coronavirus vaccination, Pastel wrote, should be in line with others for insubordination. Those penalties include "administration separation," a demerit in the Marine's personal file, as well as the forfeiture of various retirement and financial benefits.

"Please continue engaging with our troops on the importance of vaccinating, and stress that it is still voluntary at this time.  However, once the vaccine becomes mandatory they need to be prepared to separate and potentially lose benefits," Pastel's email reads. "If the Marines are not willing to lose the benefits then they should just get the vaccine now."

The Marine Corps did not respond to a request for comment.

Saturday Sultress - Ex-Marine Shannon Ihrke

God Bless America

(Fox)  -  Model and horse trainer Shannon Ihrke joined the United States Marine Corps 10 years ago — and even though she left active duty in 2012 to focus on her other passions, the blonde bombshell credits the armed forces with giving her life direction.
“I loved it. Absolutely loved it,” Ihrke said in an exclusive interview with Fox News. “When I joined, it was 2008 and I was unsure of where I wanted to go, directionwise. I was working two jobs and going to college at the same time, and I just did not know what I wanted to do.”
The Minnesota native said her light-bulb moment for joining the armed forces was while working at one of her part-time jobs at a clothing store.
“I was working two jobs to afford college, and my manager at the clothing store where I was working had a law degree. And I just thought — it was the recession — and I thought if she has a law degree and is working at a clothing store, there aren’t going to be any jobs for me when I graduate college.”
Concerned about debt, Ihrke said she approached her college counselor to ask about funding.
“[The counselor] told me two people get college completely paid for — single moms and those in the military,” Ihrke said.
“I thought, well … [the first one] is out,” she remembers. “But I thought about the military and so I went to a recruiting fair. The Marines were one of the first people I talked to.”
Though Ihrke said she does not come from a military background, she was intrigued by the armed forces. And after a recruiter from the Marines told her she would not last — claiming the Marines' boot camp was twice as hard as other branches — she knew she had to prove herself.
“When I was talking to the Marine Corps recruiters, they said, 'Ours is twice as hard. You probably [would not] make it through our boot camp anyway. A little girl like you wouldn’t make it,'” she recalled. “So I said, ‘Where can I sign up?’”

47,000 illegal alien tent city at Camp Pendleton

The GOP Congress is Missing in Action

  • Patriots have to wonder what is the point of electing a "Conservative" GOP Congress that leaves our borders wide, wide open and allows illegals to game the court system and stay here forever.
  • Trump stands alone as the Republican Congress refuses to do anything meaningful to protect our borders.
  • On election day we voters are give the "choice" of the slow motion Death of America under the GOP or a swift Clusterfuck of a death under the Marxist Democrats.

(San Diego Union Tribune)  -  San Diego County could become a destination for tens of thousands of unauthorized immigrants to be housed indefinitely by the U.S. Government, under the zero-tolerance policy implemented by President Donald Trump.

According to a report published Friday afternoon by Time magazine, military leaders are drawing up plans to create a tent city at Camp Pendleton to detain as many as 47,000 illegal immigrants from Central America and other locations over the coming months.

The facility at Camp Pendleton would be one of multiple temporary detention centers designated to house immigrants making their way into the United States.

According to an internal memo obtained by Time magazine, the U.S. Navy has been directed to establish “temporary and austere” encampments on military installations in Alabama, Arizona and California that each could host tens of thousands of detainees.

The document, prepared by an assistant secretary for approval by Navy Secretary Richard Spencer, suggests construction could begin at one site within 60 days. The structures would be designed to last for six months to one year, Time magazine reported.

Trump sends 7,500 Marines and sailors to threaten North Korea

By Gary;

Yes North Korea is run by a crazy ass Commie bastard, but President Trump needs to take the rhetoric down a few notches.

A little bit of Theodore Roosevelt's "Speak softly and carry a big stick" is in order.

Instead the Military-Industrial Complex has pushed Trump to send the USS Theodore Roosevelt, a Nimitz-class aircraft carrier.

Admiral Steve Koehler, a strike group commander on the ship, said the 7,500 sailors and marines on the vessel are “ready as a war fighting force”.

What a dumb-ass.

So a few thousand Marines and sailors are supposed to scare the Korean People's Army (KPA) which has 1,106,000 active and 8,389,000 reserve and paramilitary troops, making it the largest military institution in the world.

The fact of the matter is we cannot invade North Korea. Leave aside they have nukes. The last time we invaded we saw Communist China send in 1,350,000 troops and drove the allied armies back south.

As for air power, that option is nearly worthless.  Nazi Germany, Imperial Japan, North Vietnam and Afghanistan's Taliban all stood up against air power for years.

Simply, white hot rhetoric and actions on our side only stirs the pot and backs the moron Kim into a corner where he might lash out.

For good or ill the only card in the Korean deck is the China card.

My Opinion of Admiral Koehler

Thought For The Day

"I believe that if we had and would keep our dirty, bloody, dollar-soaked fingers out of the business of these nations so full of depressed, exploited people, they will arrive at a solution of their own -- and if unfortunately their revolution must be of the violent type because the "haves" refuse to share with the "have-nots" by any peaceful method, at least what they get will be their own, and not the American style, which they don't want and above all don't want crammed down their throats by Americans."

John Quincy Adams on Islam

 John Quincy Adams,1844

John Quincy Adams
"Islam's War Against Everyone"

  • Federalist Party U.S. Senator John Quincy Adams knew Islamic terrorism from first hand experience. Like they say, the more things change, the more they stay the same.
  • Here are a few highlights from a much larger article that any thinking American should read.

(Jihad Watch)  -  Today, a side of Adams that was not made much of in his lifetime has for many of us become the most important, and much-needed, part of his legacy: his critical view of Islam and of Muhammad. He derived these views  from experience — his own and his father’s — of Muslim behavior (both of the Barbary Pirates and of the Ottoman Turks), from his lifelong study of history, and from his intensive reading of the Qur’an.

John Adams and Thomas Jefferson were sent in 1786 to negotiate in London with the ambassador from Tripoli, Sidi Haji Abdrahaman, about the seizure of American ships. They reported back in a joint letter to John Jay (then a senior American diplomat), explaining that “We took the liberty to make some inquiries concerning the Grounds of their pretensions to make war upon a Nation who had done them no Injury, and observed that we considered all mankind as our Friends who had done us no wrong, nor had given us any provocation."

"THE AMBASSADOR ANSWERED US THAT IT WAS FOUNDED ON THE LAWS OF THEIR PROPHET, THAT IT WAS WRITTEN IN THEIR KORAN, THAT ALL NATIONS WHO SHOULD NOT HAVE ACKNOWLEDGED THEIR AUTHORITY WERE SINNERS, THAT IT WAS THEIR RIGHT AND DUTY TO MAKE WAR UPON THEM WHEREVER THEY COULD BE FOUND, AND TO MAKE SLAVES OF ALL THEY COULD TAKE AS PRISONERS, AND THAT EVERY MUSSELMAN  WHO SHOULD BE SLAIN IN BATTLE WAS SURE TO GO TO PARADISE.”

John Quincy Adams would certainly have learned from his father about what the Tripolitanian ambassador had maintained in his discussions with Adams and Jefferson. He may even have been later shown a copy — he was then a junior at Harvard — of the letter that was sent to John Jay.

He also had his own rich store of observations of Muslim behavior, for the Barbary Pirates continued, throughout the next thirty years, from 1786 to 1816, to attack American shipping and seize American seamen, who were then held for exorbitant ransom. For a while after the First Barbary War (1801-1805) with Tripoli, attacks decreased. But when the Americans became preoccupied with European matters, eventually fighting the British in the War of 1812, the Barbary states — Tripoli, Tunis, Algiers — resumed attacks on American and European shipping.

Once the War of 1812 had ended, and the Treaty of Ghent (1814) signed, the Americans resumed a more aggressive policy in the Mediterranean. When America defeated Algiers in the  Second Barbary War, that spelled the end of the last major campaign of the Barbary pirates. Western ships increasingly surpassed in speed and deadly force (better cannons) those of the Muslims, and the Barbary pirate threat to Christian shipping steadily decreased as a result.

The other example John Quincy Adams had immediately before him of Muslim aggression against Christians was the suppression, by the Turks, of the Greeks when they began their war for independence. That war lasted from 1821 to 1832, and while the Greeks were ultimately successful, Adams, who during this period was Secretary of State (1817-1825), and then President (1825-1829), received direct accounts of the extreme brutality by the Muslim Turks against the Greek Christians.
But it was not just his contemporaneous experience of Muslim behavior toward Christians that formed John Quincy Adams’s view of Islam. He was a deep student of history all of his life.
After he left the Presidency in 1829, John Quincy Adams undertook almost immediately to write and publish his strong views on Islam and Muslims. This “Essay on Turks,” little noted at the time, has now become the best-known of all his contributions as an American statesman. The “Essay on Turks” is now more famous than the three treaties he negotiated (the Treaty of Ghent, the Treaty of 1818 with Great Britain, and the Adams-Onis Treaty of 1819), more famous than his work on the Monroe Doctrine, more famous than his defense of Indian rights, or even than his argument  at the Supreme Court that led to the setting free of African slaves in the Amistad case.

The “Essay on Turks”  startles us now because we are not used to such a forthright and truthful account of Muhammad and of Islam.  We live in a different time, sunk in a swamp of appeasement and interfaith outreach, when pusillanimity and evasion are the order of the day in public discussions of Islam.  The most-quoted part of the “Essay on Turks” was put up at Jihad Watch just a few days ago, on July 11, the 250th anniversary of Adams’s birth, but it deserves to be reposted:
In the seventh century of the Christian era, a wandering Arab of the lineage of Hagar, the Egyptian, combining the powers of transcendent genius, with the preternatural energy of a fanatic, and the fraudulent spirit of an impostor, proclaimed himself as a messenger from Heaven, and spread desolation and delusion over an extensive portion of the earth. Adopting from the sublime conception of the Mosaic law, the doctrine of one omnipotent God; he connected indissolubly with it, the audacious falsehood, that he was himself his prophet and apostle. Adopting from the new Revelation of Jesus, the faith and hope of immortal life, and of future retribution, he humbled it to the dust, by adapting all the rewards and sanctions of his religion to the gratification of the sexual passion. He poisoned the sources of human felicity at the fountain, by degrading the condition of the female sex, and the allowance of polygamy; and he declared undistinguishing and exterminating war, as a part of his religion, against all the rest of mankind. THE ESSENCE OF HIS DOCTRINE WAS VIOLENCE AND LUST: TO EXALT THE BRUTAL OVER THE SPIRITUAL PART OF HUMAN NATURE.
Between these two religions, thus contrasted in their characters, a war of twelve hundred years has already raged. That war is yet flagrant; nor can it cease but by the extinction of that imposture, which has been permitted by Providence to prolong the degeneracy of man. While the merciless and dissolute dogmas of the false prophet shall furnish motives to human action, there can never be peace upon earth, and good will towards men. The hand of Ishmael will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him. It is, indeed, amongst the mysterious dealings of God, that this delusion should have been suffered for so many ages, and during so many generations of human kind, to prevail over the doctrines of the meek and peaceful and benevolent Jesus.
The precept of the Koran is perpetual war against all who deny that Mahomet is the prophet of God. The vanquished may purchase their lives, by the payment of tribute; the victorious may be appeased by a false and delusive promise of peace; and the faithful follower of the prophet, may submit to the imperious necessities of defeat: but the command to propagate the Moslem creed by the sword is always obligatory, when it can be made effective. The commands of the prophet may be performed alike, by fraud, or by force.”
The natural hatred of the Mussulmen towards the infidels is in just accordance with the precepts of the Koran.
In writing his “Essay on Turks,” he was really writing an essay on all Muslims, even if what prompted him was the behavior, at the time of its writing, of the Ottoman Turks. In particular, Adams was concerned with the brutality of the methods used by the Turks  in suppressing the Greeks who were fighting for their independence.
For the Ottoman Turks could reasonably be taken to represent Islam and Muslims. They had for centuries possessed the caliphate; they were the leading Muslim power at the time; it was their brutal behavior toward Christians that was most in evidence. And indeed, he makes clear early on that while his essay is about the Turks, they were simply practicing the same Islam, with the same Qur’an,  as the Arabs, the Afghans, the Muslims in India, in Central and East Asia.
John Quincy Adams had seen how both the Turks, and the North African pirates, from Tunis, Tripoli, and Algiers, had behaved toward Christians. He had read the Qur’an, understood its contents, realized that the war against all Infidels was not an aberration: “The natural hatred of the Mussulmen towards the infidels is in just accordance with the precepts of the Koran.” He had first heard of this from his father’s account of the Tripolitanian ambassador, in 1786.
Nothing he learned subsequently, through reading or observation, suggested another — kinder, gentler — view of Islam. Hatred, and perpetual war against the Infidels — these Qur’anic injunctions accorded with the dispatches he received from those reporting on the Barbary Pirates, and the Ottoman-ruled Greece and the Balkans.
That war could never end, until the final defeat of one side or the other.

Islamic Sexual Slavery
.
CircassiansSyrians, and Nubians were the three primary races of females who were sold as sex slaves in the Muslim Ottoman Empire. Circassian girls were described as fair, light-skinned and were frequently sent by the Circassian leaders as gifts to the Ottomans. They were the most expensive, reaching up to 500 pounds sterling and the most popular with the Turks.
.
Second in popularity were Syrian girls, with their dark eyes, dark hair, and light brown skin, and came largely from coastal regions in Anatolia. Their price could reach up to 30 pounds sterling. They were described as having "good figures when young". Nubian girls were the cheapest and least popular, fetching up to 20 pounds sterling.
.
Throughout the 18th and 19th centuries, sexual slavery was not only central to Ottoman practice but a critical component of imperial governance and elite social reproduction.
.
In the Muslim Turkish devÅŸirme, which connotes "blood tax" or "child collection", young Christian boys from the Balkans and Anatolia were taken from their homes and families, converted to Islam, and enlisted into the most famous branch of the Kapıkulu, the Janissaries, a special soldier class of the Ottoman army that became a decisive faction in the Ottoman invasions of Europe.
.
Hundreds of thousands of Europeans were captured by Barbary pirates and sold as slaves in North Africa and the Ottoman Empire between the 16th and 19th centuries. These slave raids were conducted largely by Arabs and Berbers rather than Ottoman Turks. However, during the height of the Barbary slave trade in the 16th and 17th centuries, the Barbary states were subject to Ottoman jurisdiction and were ruled by Ottoman pashas.

Obama screws Marines out of their GI Bill benefits

Screwed by the enemy
and our own government

(Stars and Stripes)  - Nearly 300 Marines came home from their seven-month deployment to Central America this week. They have a few things in tow — wood carvings from local artisans and the grit of experience responding to Hurricane Matthew, among the world’s worst recent natural disasters.
But the reservists returned without something that most were counting on: seven months of GI Bill benefits.
A relatively new and obscure deployment code, a measure the Pentagon created in 2014 to scale back spending on benefits, is the reason. By law, reservists involuntarily mobilized under Title 10, section 12304b, do not receive credit for the GI Bill while they are activated.
The Post-9/11 GI Bill is paid out by the amount of active-duty time racked up. Reservists say deployments are in high demand in part because education benefits will grow much faster than relying on drill time.
Nearly a million reservists have deployed since Sept. 11, 2001, according to data from the Pentagon’s Defense Manpower Data Center.
Marine Sgt. William Hubbard is one of nearly 600 Marine reservists affected since 2014. He deployed to Honduras in May as part of the Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force, a rapid-response unit based in Honduras to strengthen security in the region and respond to natural disasters, like Hurricane Matthew in October.
His civilian job lends him a special perspective on restricting access to the GI Bill.
He is the vice president of government affairs at Student Veterans of America, a national veterans advocacy group that focuses on education policy.
Hubbard said fellow Marines in Honduras are stunned as the word has slowly spread through the ranks. Most incorrectly believed they would receive seven to nine months’ worth of credit for GI Bill benefits, including Hubbard, a benefits legislation expert.
“Reservists serve their country like any other component, and they have to balance civilian employment, education and the military,” Hubbard said. “And to say they don’t rate the full benefit? It doesn’t add up.”

WAR - Marines in the front lines of Iraq War

How do you spell quagmire again?

  • Stop and think!  -  Who is giving ISIS and the other Islamist groups a steady supply of arms and ammo resupplies for a war going on for years on end?  If you can spell C-I-A you pass the test. That is why our jets took their time bombing ISIS if they were bombed at all.
  • Now we see the U.S. Marines put right back in the mix to "help" save Iraq from the ISIS troops we armed.  But I am just a "crazy" Blogger. What do I know?

(Washington Post)  -  Photographs and information released by the U.S. military provide new details about a fire base recently established by the Marine Corps in northern Iraq to target Islamic State militants, including its austere nature and how troops arrived there last week.

The base’s existence was kept secret by the Pentagon until Monday, two days after Marine Staff Sgt. Louis Cardin was killed there by an incoming rocket. He was a member of the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, an amphibious task force from Camp Lejeune, N.C., that typically travels on Navy ships and has been called on to temporarily bolster the campaign against the Islamic State. The base includes four 155mm M777A2 Howitzer cannons, and is located a few hundred yards from a larger Iraqi base outside the town of Makhmour where U.S. military advisers have been training Iraqi troops.

Information released with the photos details how the outpost was established by Marines who flew in on Army CH-47 helicopters from Camp Taji, a base on the outskirts of Baghdad. They arrived under cover of darkness March 17, and were launching artillery at Islamic State infiltration routes by the following day, the military said. The M777A2 can launch rounds at least 22 miles — well into nearby Islamic State territory, but not as far as the Islamic State-controlled city of Mosul, which is about 60 miles northwest.

Russian Marines Battle ISIS In Syria

Here Come The Marines!
From the Halls of the Kremlin
To the shores of Tripoli, Lebanon
We will fight Russia's battles
Because Obama is arming the Islamists

(Activist Post)  -  As the conflict in Syria continues to escalate, it has been reported by Russian media that Russian Marines stationed at an airbase in Latakia have now engaged ISIS fighters in direct combat.
According to Russian news website, Segodnia, ISIS militants attempted to ambush the Russian soldiers stationed at the base but were fought off by the Russian marines, with a number of ISIS fighters being killed and some captured.
Russian military activity has been increasing at the airbase near Latakia over recent days with the arrival of new and advanced Russian fighter jets, according to reports.
Question of the Day:
Guess which President loves his country and its military?

Combat between Russian forces and ISIS militants marks a drastic increase in the level of conflict in Syria, adding an even greater international aspect to it as well. With Russia now openly providing the Assad government with missiles, missile defense systems, advisers, helicopters, satellite imagery, and fighter jets (particularly those being flown by Russian pilots), the Russians now stand directly in opposition to the United States pilots, jet fighters, and special forces operatives on the ground in Syria supporting the death squads (even if the official U.S. line is publicly opposed to ISIS and supportive of “moderate” cannibals).
Thus, we now have the growing potential for direct military confrontation between the two major world powers, both of them armed with nuclear weapons.
The United States has supported terrorists in Syria since the very beginning of the conflict while the Russians have provided tangential but growing support for the secular government of Bashar al-Assad.
The fact that Russians are now engaged in combat in Syria now greatly increases the likelihood that the two opposing superpowers may “accidentally” or even intentionally find themselves in direct conflict with one another in Syria.
