Alaska May Allow Gold and Silver As Legal Tender

Only the 10th Amendment
 can save America
  • Both parties in D.C. are bought and paid for by the Elites to crush our freedoms.
  • While Washington does nothing, states across America are passing laws protecting our money, free speech and more.

(Armand's Rancho Del Cielo)  Alaska may become the latest in a growing number of states to allow gold and silver as legal tender if a bill, just passed the House, gets passed by the senate and signed by the governor.

The Anchorage Daily News reported:

JUNEAU — In the final days of the legislative session, the Alaska House passed a bill that would allow gold and silver to be used as legal tender.

House Bill 3, introduced by Big Lake Republican Rep. Kevin McCabe, would allow business owners to decide if they want to accept the precious metals as currency. The coin or bar would need to be refined and its value would need to be authenticated, meaning gold dust or nuggets could not be used.

McCabe told the House State Affairs Committee earlier in the session that one of his constituents suggested the idea to him because they did not trust the national banking system. More than 10 states have passed similar bills, including Arkansas in April.

The bill specifically exempts local governments from collecting sales tax when U.S. dollars are exchanged for gold and silver. Sales taxes on purchases made with the bullion would still apply.

‘Hail Satan’ - Satanic Temple Member Opens Alaskan Government Meeting

Freedom of Religion is a Bitch

(CNS News)  -  A Satanic Temple member in Alaska won the right to open an Alaska government meeting with a Satanic prayer.

Declaring, “Hail Satan,” Satanic Temple member Iris Fontana opened the Kenai Peninsula Borough’s meeting on Tuesday, saying, "That which will not bend, must break, and that which can be destroyed by truth should never be spared as demise. It is done, hail Satan," Kenai radio station KSRM reported. The peninsula is located south of Anchorage.

The move prompted protests and led to at least two assembly members and the borough’s mayor to walk out of the assembly chambers along with some audience members.

Protesters gathered outside the building, holding signs rejecting “Satan and his works” and saying, “know Jesus and his love.”

Fontana was a plaintiff in a lawsuit litigated by the ACLU of Alaska against the borough for approving a policy three years ago that people who wanted to give invocations before the meeting had to be part of official organizations with an established presence on the peninsula, the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN News) reports.

The state Supreme Court ruled last year that the policy was unconstitutional, so the borough’s government changed it to allow anyone to give the invocation regardless of religion.

Trump murdered in painting at university

The Death of a President

  • I have published tons of crap attacking the lunatics in both parties running this nation, but it was all non-violent.
  • Now we see the insane Left moving more and more into advocating violence and fascism.

(Truth Revolt)  -  A painting depicting the severed head of President Trump hangs in a University of Alaska-Anchorage art gallery with not much fuss at all.
Created by an assistant professor, Thomas Chung, the painting features a naked actor Chris Evans — yeah, the Captain America — holding the head of the president as blood drips down onto a young Hillary Clinton dressed in white, clinging to the leg of Evans.
Chung said his reason for the brutal painting was a result of him spending “days just weeping” after election night and that his feelings on Trump’s victory just “bled into that.” Apparently literally.
Though he was hesitant to submit the work for a faculty art show knowing the controversy it would stir, Chung figured at the very least, it would start a conversation:
“I was really torn about putting this piece up a faculty show, because I would never talk about my own political beliefs to my students. I would never push that upon them and make them feel uncomfortable, and so I wondered to myself if putting up this painting was in a way doing that. But I realized that I feel very strongly about this, and I think even students that might be pro-Trump supporters could benefit from having a conversation with me about why I feel this way — why I painted this.”
Does anybody believe a Trump-hating professor would hide those political feelings from students? Didn’t think so.

GOP Senator opposes Obamacare repeal bill

Best Horror Film of 2017
"It Came From Alaska"

(Breitbart)  -  Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) says she will not vote with fellow Republicans for an Obamacare repeal bill that defunds Planned Parenthood.

“The Affordable Care Act has failed in so many ways, but there are elements within it that deserve to be saved,” Murkowski said, according to CBS affiliate KTVA.

As she addressed the Alaska state legislature Wednesday, the Republican senator said Obamacare has allowed for the expansion of Medicaid and the opportunity for more than 27,000 Alaskan citizens to obtain health insurance coverage.

Additionally, Murkowski said the provisions for pre-existing conditions, coverage for adult children up to the age of 26, and mental health coverage are all positive aspects of Obamacare.

“As long as Alaska wants to keep the expansion it should have the option,” Murkowski said. “I will not vote to repeal it.”

Murkowski also says she supports Planned Parenthood.

“Taxpayer dollars should never be used to pay for abortions, but I will not vote to deny Alaskans access to the health services that Planned Parenthood provides,” she said.

In 2015, Murkowski joined Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) and former Sen. Mark Kirk (R-IL) to try to remove a provision to end Planned Parenthood’s taxpayer funding from the Obamacare repeal bill.

Joe Miller to challenge Murkowski as Libertarian Party nominee

Joe Miller and Senator Lisa Murkowski.

It's going to be a Hell of a ride

  • Former Alaska Senate GOP nominee to run as a Libertarian.  No doubt lots of details to follow.
  • We need more parties on the ballot. But I feel we do not need pansy "Give group hugs" Libertarians.
  • We need a new Nationalist Party that opposes both the open borders GOP and the open borders Democrats. A new party of patriots that cuts across the phony and false liberal-conservative divide.

ANCHORAGE (KTUU) Joe Miller is turning the tables on Sen. Lisa Murkowski.
Six years ago the tea party favorite won the GOP nomination but lost the general election to Murkowski, who ran a write-in campaign.
Now, after sitting out the primary, Miller is running against Murkowski as a Libertarian. The move creates a race with four candidates who have a proven ability to win support from a significant amount of the electorate.
“Alaskans deserve a real choice,” Miller wrote in a news release. "The choice between a Democrat, a Democrat-backed independent, and a Republican-In-Name-Only -- who has been one of Barack Obama's chief enablers -- is no choice at all.”
The move comes after the Libertarian Party nominee, Cean Stevens, withdrew from the race.
Democrat Ray Metcalfe and Independent Margaret Stock will also appear on the November ballot.
Murkowski and Stock could not immediately be reached for comment, but Metcalfe said he welcomes the latest entrant to the race.
"I was wishing he'd have run in the Republican primary. I think he would have taken it. Frankly, had he taken it I'd have a lot better shot, but even this certainly improves my chances." Metcalfe said. "Three candidates are going to split up the vote, so that does give us as a smaller party a chance of having our nominee be the victor."

Alaska and Alabama go for Trump

Trump Mushes On

(Overtime Politics)  -  March 1st can’t get here soon enough for many people who are eager to see how the primary season will shake out for the Republicans. In Alaska, the clear favorite seems to be Donald Trump, who has a 14 point lead over Ted Cruz – 41-27%.
The state awards 28 delegates proportionally to any candidate who receives more than 13% of the statewide vote. This threshold probably leaves Ben Carson and John Kasich empty handed once the delegates are awarded on March 2nd (Some of Alaska’s far western caucuses aren’t held until midnight EST). Even Marco Rubio is teetering on the edge of viability with 15% in a state where he will probably be relegated to third place, but could at least take a couple of delegates if he stays about 13%.
Next Tuesday will be the biggest night of the season so far, as 11 states will hold a caucus or primary on that day on the Republican side. Alaska may not be watched much at first, but as other states’ results start coming in, attention will start to turn north as it is likely Alaska will be the last state to report their results, giving us a full tally of delegates for the night.

Meanwhile in Alabama

(The Hill)  -  A new poll released Wednesday finds Republican primary front-runner Donald Trump up 17 points on his nearest competitor in Alabama.

The poll conducted by Master Image, a Birmingham, Ala.-based firm, shows Trump with 36 percent support headed into the state’s March 1 primary, followed by Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) with 19 percent support and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) with 12 percent support.
Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson places fourth with 8 percent support, followed by Ohio Gov. John Kasich with 7 percent support.
The poll is consistent with two previous versions, conducted Jan. 25 and Feb. 11, that also showed Trump with 36 percent support.
Rubio’s support has increased by 7 points from January, while Cruz has dropped 5 points over the same span. Cruz has often referred to the SEC primary as his "firewall" in the primary race.

Obama pulls troops from Alaska as Russia digs in

Idiot Obama
Obama is pulling out instead of thrusting in

(Business Insider)  -  The US is committing a "strategic blunder" by removing nearly 3,000 Army personnel from the Arctic as Russia continues its push to militarize the region, Senator Dan Sullivan (R—Alaska) told Anchorage-based KTVA on Sunday.
"This is a strategic mistake, a strategic blunder in my view by the Department of Defense," Sullivan told KTVA. As part of the US Army drawdown from a force of 490,000 to 450,000 active-duty soldiers, the Army set to remove 2,600 troops from the US's largest state.
This reduction comes as Russia is aggressively increasing its military presence in the Arctic region. The Kremlin has listed the Arctic as one of three key geopolitical regions for the country's security and has started develop military ports and bases throughout Russia's vast Arctic coastline.
This growing interest in the Arctic as a strategic frontier is a partial result of the environmental transformation of the region as a result of climate change. As ice coverage decreases, Arctic shipping lanes will become more heavily trafficked and massive reserves of natural resources will become exploitable.
The US estimates that a significant proportion of the Earth’s untapped petroleum — including about 15% of the world's remaining oil, up to 30% of its natural gas deposits, and about 20% of its liquefied natural gas — is stored under the Arctic seabed.
Sullivan noted that Alaska's geographic proximity to Russia makes the state even more important, as tensions with the Kremlin continue to simmer over Russian policy in Ukraine. Sullivan believes that the US should place more than just Army forces in Alaska, calling for an increased number of "Coast Guard, icebreakers, and a naval presence [in the state]."

Alaska Bill Would Nullify Federal Ban on Hemp Farming

Putting the Feds in their place

(Tenth Amendment Center)  -  A bill set for introduction in the Alaska State Senate would allow the farming, production, and sale of industrial hemp in the state, effectively nullifying the federal prohibition on the same once put into effect.
Senate Bill 8 (SB8) was introduced by State Sen Johnny Ellis and would open up the industrial hemp market in Alaska if successfully passed.
SB8 would allow a licensed individual to “produce industrial hemp, including planting, growing, harvesting, possessing, processing, selling, or buying industrial hemp.” Those who did so would be protected from prosecution through an affirmative defense as long as they are in compliance with state law.
The bill gives Alaska the chance to join several other states – Colorado, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee and Vermont – that have already passed similar measures. Farmers in SE Colorado started harvesting the plant in 2013, effectively nullifying federal restrictions on such agricultural activities.
Experts suggest that the U.S. market for hemp is around $500 million per year. They count as many as 25,000 uses for industrial hemp, including food, cosmetics, plastics and bio-fuel. The U.S. is currently the world’s #1 importer of hemp fiber for various products, with China and Canada acting as the top two exporters in the world.
During World War II, the United States military relied heavily on hemp products, which resulted in the famous campaign and government-produced film, “Hemp for Victory!”.
But, since the enactment of the unconstitutional federal controlled-substances act in 1970, the Drug Enforcement Agency has prevented the production of hemp within the United States. Many hemp supporters feel that the DEA has been used as an “attack dog” of sorts to prevent competition with major industries where American-grown hemp products would create serious market competition: Cotton, Paper/Lumber, Oil, and others.

Free range illegal aliens in Alaska

Feds fly illegals to Alaska
Some "crazy" types might say the Feds should
fly them home to Central America instead.

As unaccompanied minors continue to illegally cross the Texas-Mexico border, President Obama's Health and Human Services (HHS) has been quietly releasing them onto U.S. soil. A total of 30,340 unaccompanied minors have already been released from federal custody and placed into foster homes, according to HHS' Office of Refugee and Resettlement (ORR).

While many migrants have been released in border states like Texas and California, others have been set free in Alaska.

A spokesman from HHS confirmed to Breitbart Texas that as of July 7, five unaccompanied minors were released in Alaska. "Between January 1 and July 7, 2014, a total of five minors were discharged from the Unaccompanied Alien Children program to sponsors in Alaska," the spokesman said to Breitbart News.

The trip from McAllen, Texas--where the current border crisis is occurring--to Anchorage, Alaska is a nine and a half hour flight. This is almost double the time it would take to fly the migrants back to their home countries in Central America; a flight from McAllen to El Salvador takes just over five hours, according to Google Maps.

The federal government's reasons for transporting unaccompanied minors all the way to Alaska are unclear. Some of the minors have also been flown to Hawaii, according to Fox News' Todd Starnes.

Millions of U.S. taxpayer dollars have been spent flying illegal immigrants to locations around the nation.

Breitbart Texas recently revealed that a Department of Homeland Security budget for Fiscal Year 2015 includes more than $87 million for the transportation of illegal immigrants, who are most often flown via charter plane from Southern Texas to shelters located in various U.S. cities.

Sarah Palin for U.S. Senate

Go Sarah Go

Former Governor Sarah Palin (Constitutional Federalist - Alaska) said on a Tuesday night’s Fox News broadcast that she has considered a run for the U.S. Senate in 2014.

Go Sarah.

You have stood tall for Constitutional Federalism while the slimeball GOP establishment has embraced Karl Marx.

“I’ve considered it because people have requested me considering it, but I’m still waiting to see what the lineup will be,” she said, to Fox News host Sean Hannity.

"Sen. Mark Begich has got to be replaced,” she said, Breitbart reported. “He has not done what he has promised to do for the people of Alaska, and that was to represent what it is that the nation needs in terms of energy development and so many other natural resource development issues that are near and dear to an Alaskan’s heart. Because he’s on the wrong side of the aisle, he has to go along to get along with his Democrat leadership, and that’s a shame. That’s a waste of opportunity for our nation.”

A Stalin Show-Trial in America

The late Senator Ted Steven was the victim of a phony Stalinist show-trial in order to elect a Democrat to the Senate.

Total Corruption
Federal Prosecutors hid evidence that would have cleared Ted Stevens and no one goes to jail.
  • A phony trial held days before election day in order to get a Democrat in the Senate.
  • “serious, widespread and at times intentional” illegal concealment of evidence by prosecutors.
  • In 2009 a Federal judge formally set aside the verdict and threw out the indictment, based on what the judge called the worst case of prosecutorial misconduct he'd ever seen.
  • Extreme corruption and no one goes to jail.

Alaska Democrat Senator Mark Begich should resign his seat because of election fraud.  This crooked bastard won a slim 47%  -  46% victory Senator Ted Stevens based on a phony corruption trial timed for election day.

If Begich had any honor as a man he would resign.  But he is a Democrat, and the words honor and Democrat cannot be used in the same sentence.

A court-appointed investigator has found that the high-profile prosecution of the late Republican Senator Ted Stevens of Alaska was “permeated” by the prosecutors’ “serious, widespread and at times intentional” illegal concealment of evidence that would have helped Mr. Stevens defend himself at his 2008 trial, a federal judge disclosed.

But the 500-page report by the investigator, Henry F. Schuelke, recommends that none of the Justice Department officials involved in the case be prosecuted for criminal contempt of court.

The reason?

Because the judge who presided over the trial, Emmet G. Sullivan, of Federal District Court in Washington, did not issue an order specifically instructing prosecutors to obey the law by turning over any exculpatory evidence reports the New York Times.

Pure 100% Bull Shit and a pure 100% cover-up.

The judge quoted Schuelke as saying that the investigation and prosecution of Stevens, an Alaska Republican, had been “permeated by the systematic concealment of significant exculpatory evidence which would have independently corroborated his defense and his testimony, and seriously damaged the testimony and credibility of the government’s key witness.”

Schuelke also “found evidence of concealment and serious misconduct that was previously unknown and almost certainly would never have been revealed — at least to the court and to the public — but for their exhaustive investigation.”

After the Stevens case melted down, members of the government’s trial team and the head of the public integrity section of the Justice Department, William Welch, came under intense scrutiny.

Among other things, both Welch and his deputy chief, Brenda Morris — who had led the trial team — were reassigned, along with two other lawyers from the section. One of the lawyers, Nicholas A. Marsh, committed suicide last year.

The Democratic Party learned a lot from the Stalin Show-Trials and put that knowledge
to good use against Republican Ted Stevens.
