How about a $1.20 Minimum Wage? (Paid in Silver)

A $1.20 Minimum Wage

How about a $1.20 per hour minimum wage - - - paid in silver coins.

And yes, the workers will love it.

The 1942 Mercury Dime above is 90% silver.

As of today a one ounce silver coin is selling for about $26.

So pay workers 12 silver dimes per hour for their labor.

By weight 12 silver dimes would roughly equal $26.00 or a $26 per hour minimum wage.

By paying workers with silver or gold the workers get something of real and lasting value for their labor.

So-called "Conservatives" who bitch about the minimum wage miss the point as usual. It is NOT about the minimum wage. The real story is inflation by minting coins out of totally worthless metals and endless paper and digital money printing.

Russia has gone back to gold. We should also go back to gold and silver.

The Olden Days When
Gold and Silver was Money

When gold and silver was money somehow the sun came up every day, children played, businesses did business, people went to work and lived their lives.

But our ever so smart economists from the very best schools tell us we are the "crazy" ones for wanting a stable gold backed currency and balanced budgets.
