Does the GOP want the Democrats to win in November? Yes

Andrew Jackson Fought
Hard For His Program
Trump is also fighting hard, but he is almost the only one. The GOP is hiding under their desks hoping no one will notice them.

By Gary;

Is the Republican Party a disorganized clown car? or is the party simply run by fucking retards?

I would say both choices are true.

The Donald is left virtually alone on the field of battle. His "Conservative" GOP allies have no interest to fighting back, and in many case the GOP is praising the corrupt Deep State at every opportunity.

Democrats have handed the GOP the issues of a lifetime on a silver platter:

  • Leftists want to abolish Internet Freedom of Speech.
  • Leftists want wide open borders.
  • Leftists want to continue to export jobs to Asia and Mexico.

But with these solid gold issues to campaign on we see a silent Republican Party.

I would say 80% of GOP office holders agree with Leftists on these three issues which are the core of 2018 voter concerns.

So it is really hard for Republicans to inspire right of center voters to come out when the GOP stands with the Left on speech, borders and jobs.

Selected 1st Mid-Term Elections

When you look at the first election after a Presidential election the results are literally all over the map. I guess it come down to do voters have buyer's remorse about their Presidential vote 2 years before?

Andrew Jackson  -  In the first mid-term election Jackson's Democrats only lost 10 House seats in 1830 and kept control of Congress.

James K. Polk  -  In 1846 the Democrats lost 30 seats in the House to the Whig Party in a reaction to the Mexican War.

Rutherford B. Hayes  -  Jumping ahead of the Civil War era we see the GOP lost only 4 seats in the House.

William Howard Taft  -  The 1910 mid terms saw the GOP lose 56 seats in the House.

Harry Truman  -  1946 saw the Democrats lose 54 seats in the House.

Richard Nixon  -  1970 saw the Republicans only lose 12 seats in the House.

Ronald Reagan  -  Reagan got the shaft in 1982 with the loss of 26 seats in the House.

Bill Clinton  -  There was a huge rebellion against Clinton in 1994 with the GOP gaining 54 seats in the House,

George Bush  -  Between 9-11 and starting a war in Afghanistan (which did not attack us) we see the GOP actually gaining 8 seats in the House.

Comrade Obama  -  We all know the story of the Tea Party Revolt. It is not like the GOP did anything, but the Democrats did lose 63 seats in the House.

2018 Prediction

With Trump not on the ballot to inspire Republicans what will happen?

Most GOP office holders are a waste of skin and bring little to the table. Few voters will be inspired by the RNC. But many GOP voters will be inspired by FEAR of Leftist Democrats.

Many of the elections have seen huge numbers swing against the incumbent President. But there are other elections like Jackson, Hayes or Nixon that saw small numbers change.

My view is most of the anger is in Democrat states and districts. . . . not in Republican states and districts.

If Trump campaigns and inspires the GOP base I would say a loss of 12 seats with the GOP still in control.

If Trump cannot inspire his voters to act then it only takes a few more seats to flip and give us a Democrat House and impeachment.

Certainly the GOP has next to done nothing to show they support Trump and his programs and want to win the House.

Drudge is Right
If you do not stand for anything or are willing to fight then right of center voters will not be inspired get out of their homes to vote.

The Leftists want to abolish free speech, have wide open borders and to keep exporting jobs, but the GOP does not have the balls to fight back.
