Throwing Snowballs Has Been Made Illegal

Retard Alert
“The kind of man who wants the government to adopt and enforce his ideas is always the kind of man whose ideas are idiotic.”
― H.L. Mencken

Wisconsin may be a winter wonderland this time of year, but for those in the town of Wausau who plan on fashioning the freshly fallen snow into snowballs to hurl at other people, you can forget it.

The town of Wausau, Wisconsin, has outlawed the throwing of snowballs, “in the interest of public safety.”

“No person shall throw or shoot any object, arrow, stone, snowball or other missile or projectile, by hand or by any other means, at any other person,” says the Wausau municipal code, under the “Weapons” heading in the section dealing with “Peace, Safety, and Morals.”

“It’s really in the interest of public safety,” Wausau Mayor Robert B. Mielke told WCCO.

“A lot of it is just consideration and common sense. You don’t throw stuff at people, period.”

Mielke says that the proposal to ban snowballs was brought forth years ago, after some issues developed involving projectiles. However, police told WCCO that they could not recall issuing a fine for the throwing of a snowball.

The ordinance specifies that snowballs cannot be thrown “at, in or into any building, street, sidewalk, alley, highway, park, playground or other public place within the city.”

School bans Christmas cards - Bad for the environment

The Left HATES Everything

An England elementary school has banned Christmas cards because they apparently aren’t very eco-friendly.
Principal Jonathan Mason of Belton Lake Primary School in Lincolnshire decided to ban Christmas cards after a group of students reportedly approached him with their worries “about the impact of sending Christmas cards on the environment.”
As a result of their concerns, Mason reportedly banned students from sending Christmas cards to each other.
He told parents in a letter obtained by Sky News painting a dire picture about the dangers of Christmas cards.
“Throughout the world, we send enough Christmas cards that if we placed them alongside each other, they’d cover the world’s circumference 500 times. The manufacture of Christmas cards is contributing to our ever-growing carbon emissions.”

Homeland Security proposes face scans for U.S. citizens

The Bipartisan Big Brother
is Always Watching You
Both parties fully fund, expand and protect the 1984 Police Surveillance State

(Reuters) - The Trump administration intends to propose a regulation next year that would require all travelers - including U.S. citizens - to be photographed when entering or leaving the United States, according to the administration's regulatory agenda.
The proposed regulation, slated to be issued in July by the Homeland Security Department, would be part of a broader system to track travelers as they enter and exit the United States.

The plan has already drawn opposition from some privacy advocates. Jay Stanley, a senior policy analyst with the American Civil Liberties Union, blasted the idea in a written statement on Monday.
"Travelers, including U.S. citizens, should not have to submit to invasive biometric scans simply as a condition of exercising their constitutional right to travel," he said.
The Trump administration contends in its regulatory agenda that the face scan requirement will combat the fraudulent use of U.S. travel documents and aid the identification of criminals and suspected terrorists.
The public typically has 30 to 60 days to comment on a proposed U.S. regulation. The federal agency then needs to review and respond to comments, a process that can be time-consuming for major regulations.
The Trump administration also said in its regulatory agenda that it plans to issue a separate fast-track regulation this month that would allow the entry-exit project to move beyond a pilot status.

Transgender Couple "Transitions" their 5 year old

This is simply child abuse

(Summit News)  -  Britain’s first transgender couple have stoked controversy by revealing that they will allow their 5-year-old child to also begin gender transition.
Jody, 21, and Greg Rogers, 27, from Glasgow in Scotland went public with the announcement that their son Jayden has begun transitioning into a girl.
The couple claimed that they were subjected to abuse since making the announcement and that they had also been reported to social services.

The couple denied claims they had encouraged the transition, with Greg Rogers telling the Daily Record, “We’ve had people saying we’re using Jayden for attention and that she just wants to be a girl because I changed sex…It’s ridiculous. Jayden knows nothing about my past. She just knows me as dad.”
According to the couple, Jayden is adamant he is a girl and loves dressing up as Princess Anna from the Disney film Frozen.
“They say it’s cruel we let her wear a dress but is it not more cruel to do nothing when you’ve got a kid who’s so adamant she’s a girl she’s ripping her hair off and banging her head off the walls?” said Rogers.
Earlier this year, it was revealed that five people working at Britain’s only NHS transgender clinic had quit after children as young as three were being through unnecessary gender reassignment treatment.
“Referrals to the clinic risen in recent years, with 94 in 2010, rising to 2,519 by last year, with the youngest patient aged just three,” reported the Daily Mail.

New York State Ranks No. 1 in Abortions

Dems have blood on their hands
Aborting Babies is a Democrat Wet Dream

Of the 47 states that reported their annual abortion numbers to the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, New York had the highest rate, ratio and overall number of abortions, according to a newly released CDC report.
But, over the last ten years on record (2007 through 2016), the total number of abortions in the 47 states that have consistently reported their abortions to the CDC has declined by 24 percent.
The abortion numbers come from the CDC’s “Abortion Surveillance—United States, 2016,” which was published by the CDC’s “Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report” on Nov. 29.
The “rate” of abortions (as defined by the CDC) is the number of abortions per 1,000 women 15 to 44 years of age in the relevant jurisdiction; the “ratio” is the number of abortions per 1,000 live births.

A Little Monday Music - "Weird Al" Yankovic

Starting The Week off on a High Note
  • I have decided to try and start each new week off on a positive high note. But being a glass half empty kind of guy I suspect things will turn into crap soon enough.

Alfred Matthew "Weird Al" Yankovic (born October 23, 1959) is an American singer-songwriter, record producer, satirist, actor, voice actor, music video director, comedian, and author. He is known for his humorous songs that make light of popular culture and often parody specific songs by contemporary musical acts; original songs that are style pastiches of the work of other acts; and polka medleys of several popular songs, featuring his favored instrument, the accordion.
Since his first-aired comedy song in 1976, he has recorded more than 150 parody and original songs, and performed more than 1,000 live shows.
His works have earned him five Grammy Awards and a further eleven nominations, four gold records, and six platinum records in the United States.
Yankovic's first top ten Billboard album (Straight Outta Lynwood) and single ("White & Nerdy") were both released in 2006, nearly three decades into his career.
His latest album, Mandatory Fun (2014), became his first number-one album during its debut week.

We must abolish freedom to save freedom - Merkel

(Summit News)  -  German Chancellor Angela Merkel says that freedom of expression must be curtailed in order to keep society free.
Yes, really.
“For all those who claim that they can no longer express their opinion, I say this to them; If you express a pronounced opinion, you must live with the fact that you will be contradicted,” said Merkel during a speech to the German Parliament.
“Expressing an opinion does not come at zero cost, but freedom of expression has limits,” she added, as some in the Bundestag could be heard voicing their disagreement.
“Those limits begin where hatred is spread, they begin where the dignity of other people is violated. This house will and must oppose extreme speech otherwise our society will no longer be the free society that it was,” said Merkel.
Of course, what “violates” the “dignity” of other people is completely subjective and could include all manner of speech that most people would find perfectly acceptable.
The debate over free speech in Germany has intensified since the country accepted over a million migrants from the Middle East and North Africa from 2015 onwards.
Many Germans have found themselves hit with charges of hate speech for pointing out ‘hate facts’ like migrants being responsible for crimes and sexual assaults
This happened despite the German government’s own numbers showing violent crime in Germany rose by 10 per cent between 2015 and 2016 and that more than 90 per cent of the rise was attributable to young male “refugees.”
Lawmakers in one area of Germany even attempted to pass a law that would have jailed people for insulting the EU anthem or burning the EU flag.
