Gov. JB Pritzker (D-IL) pledged to launch a campaign to boost radical sex change procedures in his state in response to Donald Trump’s landslide election.
Pritzker used Transgender Awareness Week — November 12 to 19 — as a platform to showboat over the issue, Fox News reported
“This Transgender Awareness Week, I want you to know that I see you and have your back as governor,” Pritzker wrote on X. “Illinois has enshrined protections for gender-affirming care to meet this moment — and because of that, you will have a home here always.”
Pritzker’s cousin, James Nicholas Pritzker, a retired lieutenant colonel in the Illinois National Guard, is now a transgender person who goes by the name “Jennifer,” and runs a left-wing organization that passes out grants to organizations that support “gender and human sexuality.”
As governor, the billionaire Pritzker has been at the forefront of pushing extreme and dangerous trans ideology. In 2021 he directed the state’s Department of Human Services to put in place a list of protections for “transgender, nonbinary and gender nonconforming students” as part of his reinterpretation of the Illinois Human Rights Act of 1979.
Chicago's explosive Fourth of July weekend left 19 people dead and more than 100 others wounded in shootings, including multiple mass shootings, across the Windy City in a four-day span, according to police.
The victims included two women, Neekshia Strong, 45, and Capri Edwards, 24, who lost their lives shielding children from gunfire on Independence Day, FOX 32 Chicago reported. Bullets struck all three of the boys with them, ages 5, 8 and 8. One of the boys died.
"There was also a 1-year-old at that location inside the home, who luckily and thankfully was not harmed but was traumatized by the event," Chicago Police Superintendent Larry Snelling told reporters during a Monday morning news briefing.

A new Illinois law will require landlords to rent or sell property to undocumented migrants, adding immigration status to the list of protected classes in the Illinois Human Rights Act.
SB1817 was signed into law by Governor J.B. Pritzker (D-Ill.) last month and is set to go into effect at the beginning of 2024. The law will add “protections in the Illinois Human Rights Act for housing regarding immigration status protection.”

(Chicago Tribune) - Mayor Lori Lightfoot is planning to remove the controversial statue of Christopher Columbus from Chicago’s Grant Park as soon as Thursday night, in part to avoid another high-profile confrontation between police and protesters like the one that happened last week, sources told the Tribune. Not all Italian American leaders in Chicago are on board with the decision, but it has received the blessing of some groups, sources said.
Protesters marched downtown last Friday then headed into Grant Park, where a group of people attempted to take down the statue, similar to what’s happened in other cities across the country. But chaos followed the protest as officers and demonstrators clashed around the statue. At least 20 complaints of police brutality were filed against Chicago cops, including one involving activist Miracle Boyd, who said she was hit in the face by a police officer during the skirmish, knocking out at least one of her teeth. Last week it was reported 65 people were shot across Chicago as Mayor Lightfoot pushed for police reform and lectured the city on Coronavirus safety measures. Four children were among the 65 people shot. A total of 18 people died, including 2 children and a baby. There was even more violence over 4th of July weekend, but Mayor Lightfoot refused to acknowledge the real reason for the escalating murder rate in Chicago. “All of these forces are coming together at the same time and making it very difficult. The ecosystem of public safety that isn’t just law enforcement but is local, community-based, they, too, have really been hit hard by COVID and are now just kind of coming back online and getting their footing,” Lightfoot said. Vandals in Chicago spray-painted a statue of George Washington overnight with messages in red paint on three sides reading, “Slave Owner!”, “Burn the Whitehouse down” and “God bless AmeriKKKa”, reported Alexis McAdams with WLS-TV, via Twitter. A white KKK hood and cloak were also placed over Washington’s head.
WMAQ-TV reported on the statue also having a white hood and cloak put on it.

Members of the Chicago City Council’s Black Caucus accused Mayor Lori Lightfoot of mishandling the deployment of the Illinois National Guard to protect certain neighborhoods and not others, but the National Guard told the Daily Caller News Foundation it did not know where it deployed its own troops. Aldermen said the business corridors to the South and West did not receive the same level of protection as other places amid the city’s protests over George Floyd, according to an audio recording of a conference call obtained by WTTW News, which first reported on it. The Illinois National Guard was not able to directly answer where its troops were deployed when the DCNF asked. The troops “fell under the purview of the Chicago Police Department, all we know is that they were at 30 different locations but we don’t know anything else,” Barbara Wilson of the National Guard Public Affairs Office told the DCNF. “Please direct your request to the Mayor’s Office and/or the Illinois National Guard,” Kellie Bartoli, a Chicago Police Department spokeswoman, told the DCNF.
(WND) - Amid an unprecedented push by Black Lives Matter to "defund police," Chicago's Democratic mayor engaged in a contentious, profanity-laced argument with a local alderman who accused her of being unprepared to handle looting that spread from downtown to businesses in his neighborhoods. On a conference call with 50 aldermen, Raymond Lopez of the city's 15th ward told Mayor Lori Lightfoot that parts of the Back of the Yards and Brighton Park neighborhoods in his ward had become "a virtual warzone," according to audio obtained by the Chicago CBS affiliate. Lopez said there are people among the protesters of the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis who "are here to antagonize and incite, and you've got them all pumped tonight, today." "They’re not going to go to bed at 8 o’clock. They’re going to turn their focus on the neighborhoods," he said. "I’ve got gang-bangers with AK-47s walking around right now, just waiting to settle some scores. What are we going to do, and what do we tell residents, other than good faith people stand up? It’s not going to be enough."
Lightfoot didn't answer and attempted to move to the next alderman, but Lopez insisted on a reply. "It’s not something you ignore. This is a question that I have,” Lopez said. Lighfoot shot back: "I think you’re 100% full of shit, is what I think." Lopez replied in kind. “Fuck you, then. (CNS News) - The pastor of a black church on the southside of Chicago is urging U.S. Attorney John Lausch to intervene after Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot sent armed police officers to his church on Sunday to shut down services which were attended by 45 people. “Mayor Lightfoot today sent armed police officers to our small church (45 attendees today) to shut our services down today. They came with 3 squad cars two unmarked Durango’s and a Mayor representative’s car. Like the Soviet styled KGB they knocked on our locked doors; the only thing she hasn’t done ‘yet’ is beat the doors down and arrest our members,” Courtney Lewis, pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Chicago, wrote in a letter to Lausch on Sunday. “Thankfully our doors were locked as a normal safety precaution we take each service to protect our members from the escalating gun violence in Chicago,” Lewis wrote. “Mayor Lightfoot is defiant of the US Constitution and our freedom to worship.” CNSnews.com
(Gateway Pundit) - A church the Albany Park area of Chicago is blatantly disobeying the lock down orders imposed by Governor Pritzker and Mayor Lightfoot, and opened its doors for not just one, but two services this past Sunday. Elim Romanian Pentecostal’s head Pastor Christian Ionescu vows to continue with services, as posted to the church’s facebook page:
A Romanian church on the North Side hosted two Sunday services, prompting Ald. Rossana Rodriguez (33rd) to plead with other religious leaders in the community not to defy the state’s stay at home order.
Elim Romanian Pentecostal at 4850 N. Bernard St. hosted a morning and evening service Sunday. Both were live streamed on Facebook. Cristian Ionescu, Elim Romanian’s pastor, said about 110 people attended each service.
The Albany Park church is among those suing Gov. JB Pritzker to challenge his stay at home order. Ionescu said he has no plans to back down and plans to keep holding services.
“I’m going to keep hosting mass unless I’m incarcerated, or the church doesn’t stand with me or God takes me,” Ionescu said after Sunday’s evening service.
Ionescu complained the state is at least a year away from things getting back to normal. Expecting only 10 or 50 people to be able to enter a church at a time is “ridiculous” for a congregation like his that has about 900 members.
“For us it is insulting, more than ridiculous,” Ionescu said in the video. “We’re conducting recordings for our own online services with more than 10 people being involved. Whether the government officials have no idea what a church public service really means, or they’re trying to tell us in a non-confrontational way that we’re still banned, I don’t know.”
Ionescu also said he is frustrated Pritzker didn’t include church leaders in the conversation regarding his plan to reopen the state.
“Unfortunately this administration dismissed us as non-essential from the beginning. Then under intense public pressure and impending lawsuits they gave us the recognition, but only symbolically,” Ionescu said. “It doesn’t help us in the least.”
Ionescu’s church joined Logos Baptist Ministries in suburban Niles to file a temporary restraining order against the governor Friday, according to WGN.
Mayor Lori Lightfoot said Monday she had a “very pleasant” conversation with the pastor of an Albany Park church that defied the statewide stay-at-home order and hopes to educate him into compliance, avoiding mass arrests.
“We’re not gonna send in the police to arrest parishioners. People are exercising their faith, and I understand that,” the mayor said.
“But it’s a mistake to gather in large congregate settings — particularly if you have an underlying medical condition [or] you are otherwise in a vulnerable population. That’s hopefully the dialogue that we’ll be able to have with the pastor.”
“Our plan has always been to educate people into compliance. If we can do that, we will do that. We don’t want to take more aggressive measures unless we’re forced to do that because people are defying it,” the mayor said.
“But we’re not gonna have a circumstance where people are blatantly ignoring the rules that have been put in place to help save peoples’ lives.”
The mayor said she had a “very pleasant conversation” with Cristian Ionescu, Elim Romanian’s senior pastor, on Monday and hopes to have a follow-up conversation soon.
Speaking in his native Romanian, Cristian Ionescu, Elim Romanian’s senior pastor, told his flock the move to hold services is “not a rebellion for the sake of rebellion” and claimed the Constitution grants them the right to worship during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The vast majority of congregants didn’t wear masks during the service. But almost everyone put one on before leaving. And when the service was winding down, Ionescu sternly directed his followers to stay 6 feet apart and warned against congregating outside.
“Why is this important? We are being watched,” he said. “We are being recorded.”

(Washington Examiner) - It could be more than a year before churches are allowed to resume their in-person gatherings, according to Democratic Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker. Pritzker announced a five-phase plan to reopen Illinois that gives guidance to schools, businesses, churches, and other religious centers about when they will be allowed to reopen.
In phase three, gatherings of up to 10 people will be allowed. In phase four, gatherings of up to 50 people will be allowed. Gatherings of more than 50 people will not be allowed until phase five. During a press conference on Wednesday, Pritzker confirmed that churches will be held to the same standards and not be allowed to hold in-person services of more than 50 people until phase five, even if it takes more than a year to get to that position. Phase five cannot begin until a vaccine is widely available or a highly effective therapeutic drug is released. Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, has said a vaccine is 12 to 18 months away from being available to the public. Read More . . . .
