US senator calls for bombing Iran

The US should bomb Iranian oil fields and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps HQ in retaliation for Houthi attacks on Red Sea shipping, Senator Lindsey Graham said on Thursday.

In a Fox News interview, the South Carolina Republican argued that Tehran was behind both the attacks on US bases in Iraq and Syria and the harassment of Israeli-linked cargo ships in the Red Sea.

“I have been saying for six months now: Hit Iran,” Graham said. “They have oil fields out in the open, they have the Revolutionary Guard headquarters you can see from space. Blow it off the map.”

WAR with Russia & the END of NATO

Modern Weapons Make Tanks Rolling Coffins

Binden Sends
31 Tanks to "Fight" Russia
What a Fucking Joke

By Gary;

The Sheeple are fucking idiots to believe a handful of tanks will have any impact on the Ukrainian War other than to get their crews killed.

Better yet, the N.Y.Post reports they won't even arrive:

"Ukraine must wait months to receive the 31 M1 Abrams tanks promised by the US because the Pentagon does not have enough of the critical vehicles in its own stockpile to send now, spokeswoman Sabrina Singh confirmed Thursday."

Simply, Putin is laughing his ass off.

Tanks maybe be useful to bully weak 3rd world nations, but tanks have no more place on a modern battlefield than wooden warships have a place at sea.

The Tank Died in 1944

The 1944 Battle of the Bulge was the last gasp of the tank in war.

The Germans made great gains against the Allies only because the cloud cover prevented the air forces from attacking. The moment the weather cleared the German armored forces were reduced to scrap metal.

The tank was made obsolete by primitive propeller driven planes.

Against modern powers like Russia or China, jets, missiles, advanced artillery and battlefield nukes make tanks expensive rolling coffins If you gather three tanks together in one spot just make sure a gravedigger unit is close by.

So why send tanks to Ukraine?

Partly it is to try and trigger a wider war hoping for a Gulf of Tonkin style incident.

Secondly, it is a pay off to the Military Industrial Complex. The more shit blown up means more profits.

I have a solution. Make peace.

Why WAR with Russia will spell the END of NATO

"We annually spend on military security more than the net income of all United States corporations.
.
This conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience. The total influence -- economic, political, even spiritual -- is felt in every city, every State house, every office of the Federal government. We recognize the imperative need for this development. Yet we must not fail to comprehend its grave implications. Our toil, resources and livelihood are all involved; so is the very structure of our society. .
.
In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. .
.
We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together."

Trump Invisible As Armed Officers Shut Down Churches

Eisenhower Acted
Trump Does Nothing
In 1957 Ike deployed the 101st Airborne to Little Rock, Arkansas with bayonets fixed – Double Time down the streets to protect the rights of Black Americans.

  • Meanwhile the Bill of Rights is being openly raped, and AG Barr and Trump do NOTHING but talk.

(CNS News)  -  The pastor of a black church on the southside of Chicago is urging U.S. Attorney John Lausch to intervene after Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot sent armed police officers to his church on Sunday to shut down services which were attended by 45 people.

“Mayor Lightfoot today sent armed police officers to our small church (45 attendees today) to shut our services down today. They came with 3 squad cars two unmarked Durango’s and a Mayor representative’s car. Like the Soviet styled KGB they knocked on our locked doors; the only thing she hasn’t done ‘yet’ is beat the doors down and arrest our members,” Courtney Lewis, pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Chicago, wrote in a letter to Lausch on Sunday.

“Thankfully our doors were locked as a normal safety precaution we take each service to protect our members from the escalating gun violence in Chicago,” Lewis wrote. “Mayor Lightfoot is defiant of the US Constitution and our freedom to worship.”

Military-Industrial Complex Comes After Trump on Syria

The CIA Has Its Claws
in Warhawk Hannity
GOP-Dem Elites go ape shit that Trump wants peace instead of endless wars

  • There has never been a more corrupt or incompetent agency than the CIA, but Hannity puckers up and thrusts his lips deep into their asses to the point of wearing their pin.  Hannity is always BSing us about all the "wonderful" people in the CIA and FBI.
  • The New York Times and others long ago reported the MOUNTAINS of weapons provided to Islamists by the CIA in unconstitutional wars in Syria, Yemen and Libya.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) on Monday praised President Donald Trump for his decision to withdraw U.S. troops from northern Syria, stating the move shows the president continues to fulfill his “promises” to end “endless wars.”

“I stand with @realDonaldTrump today as he once again fulfills his promises to stop our endless wars and have a true America First foreign policy,” Paul, a libertarian who has long opposed intervention abroad, wrote on Twitter.

Paul’s praise comes as neoconservative Republicans are expressing disapproval with President Trump’s decision. Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), a staunch defender of the president, called the pullout “unnerving to its core.”

“This impulsive decision by the president has undone all the gains we’ve made, thrown the region into further chaos, Iran is licking their chops, and if I’m an ISIS fighter, I’ve got a second lease on life,” Graham told Fox and Friends. “I will do everything I can to sanction Turkey’s military and their economy if they step one foot into Syria.”

Syria is "Sand and Death" says Trump

Sand and Death
  • Caesar Obama declared war on Syria without a vote of Congress and then directed millions of taxpayers dollars to finance Islamist rebels.
  • Now the bi-partisan Military-Industrial Complex is screaming in anger that President Trump wants to end foreign wars. The Military-Industrial Complex says US troops in Syria will "solve" the problem. Meanwhile we are running 17 years on in Afghanistan and the problem is still not "solved".

(Infowars)  -  President Trump defended his decision to withdraw troops from Syria and begin a drawdown of forces in Afghanistan after the mainstream media and neocons accused him of being premature.
During a Cabinet meeting in the White House on Wednesday, Trump doubled down on his decision to pull out of Syria and begin drawing down troops in Afghanistan.
“We don’t want Syria. We’re talking about sand & death. That’s what we’re talking about. We’re not talking about vast wealth. We’re talking about sand and death,” Trump told reporters.
Trump then reminded the media that regional neighbors like Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Russia, and India have more incentive to defeat ISIS than the U.S. because they pose a direct threat to their national interests.
“Russia’s not happy, you know why they’re not happy? Because they like it when we’re killing ISIS, because we’re killing them for them. And we’re killing them for Assad. And we’re killing ISIS also for Iran,” Trump said.
“We were supposed to be out of Syria many years ago. If you remember, we went to Syria for some spot hits, and that was five years ago, and we never left. I don’t want to be in Syria. I want to rebuild our country.”
His statements come after former Gen. James Mattis stepped down last month as Secretary of Defense over Trump’s decision to wind down the Middle East wars.

Eisenhower warns us of the Military Industrial Complex

First we arm the Islamists and then claim we need
to go to war to stop the Islamists we just armed.

Take a guess who provided weapons
to Islamists

.
(New York Times)  -  With help from the C.I.A., Arab governments and Turkey have sharply increased their military aid to Syria’s opposition fighters in recent months, expanding a secret airlift of arms and equipment for the uprising against President Bashar al-Assad, according to air traffic data, interviews with officials in several countries and the accounts of rebel commanders.

The airlift, which began on a small scale in early 2012 and continued intermittently through last fall, expanded into a steady and much heavier flow late last year, the data shows. It has grown to include more than 160 military cargo flights by Jordanian, Saudi and Qatari military-style cargo planes landing at Esenboga Airport near Ankara, and, to a lesser degree, at other Turkish and Jordanian airports.

.
From offices at secret locations, American intelligence officers have helped the Arab governments shop for weapons, including a large procurement from Croatia, and have vetted rebel commanders and groups to determine who should receive the weapons as they arrive, according to American officials speaking on the condition of anonymity.

The C.I.A. declined to comment on the shipments or its role in them.

1984 - Congress moves to make war eternal

"I am concerned for the security of our great Nation; not so much because of any threat from without, but because of the insidious forces working from within."
Douglas MacArthur

(Infowars)  -  Senator Rand Paul warned Tuesday that a new war powers act currently making its way through the Senate will expand the President’s authority to declare war without the backing of Congress, essentially allowing the ‘Commander In Chief’ to wage war any where at any time.

While the legislation has been presented as a plan to “reassert” Congressional power to “authorize where, when and with who we are at war,” the proposal for a new AUMF (Authorization for Use of Military Force) actually allows the president to declare anyone an ‘associated force’ of terrorists, without even disclosing the details to Congress or the public.

“Unfortunately, the authorization they’re putting forward will expand the president’s authority to involve us in war,” Senator Paul warned during an appearance on Fox News.

“Currently we’re involved in six or seven countries actively and another 10 or 20 sorts of intermittently. This new authorization will authorize all of those wars and then some.” Paul added.

“For the first time, it will authorize something called associated forces, which means anybody on the planet who says they are associated or we think are associated, we can go to war with,” Paul continued, essentially warning that the legislation constitutes a rubber stamp for war.

“My fear is that this new authorization will not constrain the president, but it will actually expand the presidential power, will expand our military involvement around the world.”

In an interview with The American Conservative, Kurt Couchman, vice president for public policy at the conservative Defense Priorities also warned on the implications of the legislation.

“When the founders wrote the Constitution they understood that military conflict was a big deal,” Couchman noted, adding that “They saw sovereigns go bankrupt over a series of wars started by kings, and they did not want our president to be king. You need the people to be on board through their representatives. (This proposal) ensures wars will continue on auto-pilot only subject to the president’s discretion.”

Afghanistan is a giant "slush fund" for the Military-Industrial Complex

War is Looting on an International Scale

  • We no longer have public debates and then have Congress declare war. Because if we declare war it is implied that a peace treaty can be negotiated and the war ended. The Military-Industrial Complex does not want the gravy train to end.
  • The last time Congress bothered to obey the Constitution and declare war in June, 1942 against Romania.

(Zero Hedge)  -  A new report from the Department of Defense Office of Inspector General (DoD IG) exposes even more fraud, waste and/or corruption in America’s ongoing war in Afghanistan.
This latest report reveals that more than $3.1 billion of U.S. taxpayer funds provided to the Afghan Armed Forces from 2014 through 2017 was grossly mismanaged.
According to the DoD IG, U.S. military leaders overseeing operations in Afghanistan “failed to accurately record” some 95,000 vehicles transferred to Afghan Armed Forces, along with fuel expenses and maintenance costs to keep the vehicles operational. The report issued last Wednesday was the last in a series of DoD IG audits that examined the Pentagon for “systemic challenges” in how senior officials oversee U.S. direct funding to the Afghan Armed Forces said the Military Times.
The DoD IG warned the lack of accountability via military leaders overseeing Afghanistan leaves U.S. taxpayer funds vulnerable to “fraud, waste, and abuse.”

“Combined Security Transition Command–Afghanistan (CSTC-A) officials did not effectively manage and oversee the U.S. direct funding provided to the Ministries of Defense and Interior, which oversee Afghanistan’s Army and National Police, respectively,” the report stated.
“CSTC-A management and oversight of the direct funding is intended to increase [Afghan security forces] effectiveness and capabilities so the [forces] can become more professional and increasingly self-sustaining.”
Stars and Stripes, an American military newspaper, said military officials blame, what else, “inadequate staffing and security concerns” for any financial discrepancies. However, the DoD IG audit determined systemic issues are to blame.

CSTC-A officials established unrealistic and unattainable goals for the Afghans to improve their own capabilities toward achieving independence in supplying their own troops, the IG also found.
Instead, the Afghan government has remained reliant on the United States to furnish its supplies because American officials have not provided adequate training, according to the report.
Additionally, the report stated CSTC-A officials have not enforced penalties within U.S. agreements with the Afghan government. Penalties include levying fines when terms and conditions of contracts are not met, such as providing detailed logs of vehicle maintenance and fuel consumption data.
Stars and Stripes provides a summary of the latest findings from the DoD IG report:
For example, Afghan officials only provided CSTC-A fuel consumption reports for the Afghan army when directly requested by the United States, though contracts require biweekly reports. The IG concluded the United States cannot be certain that at least $174 million worth of fuel was properly used.
CSTC-A also cannot properly track the status of some 95,000 vehicles that the United States has given the Afghans because officials did not properly inventory the types and quantities of vehicles provided.
Furthermore, the IG blamed CSTC-A officials for failing to properly train the Afghans to maintain those vehicles, leaving the U.S. military to spend about $21 million to replace engines and transmissions that should have been the Afghans responsibility.
The IG report was the eighth and final report in a series of oversight investigations into CSTC-A functions since 2015. The reports have uncovered widespread issues within the command, including the commands’ inability to account for more than $700 million of ammunition provided to the Afghan security forces between 2015 and 2017.
As a result of the Pentagon’s lousy accounting practices, if not outright fraud and embezzlement, the audit notes that CSTC-A officials did not have the assurance that “$3.1 billion in U.S. direct funding was used entirely for the intended purposes.”
In other words, just over $3 billion may have been stolen.
And lastly, we will leave you with David Stockman, the former Director of the Office of Management and Budget under President Ronald Reagan, who recently appeared on Fox Business — calling out Trump’s record-setting defense spending for fiscal year 2018/19 as absolutely “crazy.”

2 brigades deploy to Afghanistan - And the war goes on and on

Off To Afghanistan

  • More troops are off to the 3rd world shit-hole of Afghanistan and idiots like VP Mike Pence claim victory is closer than ever.
  • Call me a "crazy blogger" (which I am) but we have 14,000 troops in Afghanistan. With 252,072 sq. miles Afghanistan is larger than Nazi Germany with 244,706 sq. miles. Might I note it took millions of troops to beat down the Nazis. 14,000 troops? What a public relations joke.
  • Personally I don't give a fuck who controls Afghanistan. Take those 14,000 troops and put them on the Mexican border.

(Stars and Stripes)  -  Two combat brigades from Fort Carson will deploy to Afghanistan early next year, the Army announced Thursday, describing the deployments as regular troop rotations.

The 4th Infantry Division’s 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team and 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team will leave the Colorado Army post in the spring for nine month tours in the country where U.S. forces have been at war for more than 16 years, according to the Army.

Senior U.S. defense officials have said some American troops will operate closer to the front lines in 2018 and assume greater risk as they advise Afghan forces expected to conduct simultaneous offensive operations across the nation designed to drive the Taliban toward peace negotiations.

The U.S. military’s primary role in Afghanistan is training, advising and assisting Afghan forces, however American troops also carry out some counterterrorism operations against groups including Islamic State and al-Qaida.

The Pentagon publicly acknowledges having about 14,000 troops operating in Afghanistan, an increase of about 3,000 since summer.

Bullshit Alert

Vice President Mike Pence said last week, when he made a surprise visit to the troops in Afghanistan.
“The results are really beginning to become evident around the country,” Pence said after meeting with Afghan President Ashraf Ghani. Wishing the US troops a merry Christmas, he assured them the that Trump’s new “fight-to-win strategy” for Afghanistan was “bearing fruit.”
“I believe victory is closer than ever before,” Pence said.

The American Flag Frightens Sarah Silverman

Leftist Idiot Report
Words fail me when confronted by the pure stupidity of Liberals and their insane hatred of America.

(Washington Times)  -  Comedian Sarah Silverman addressed the topic of American nationalism during a monologue on her Hulu talk show Thursday night, describing the “visceral reaction” and fear she felt when an old boyfriend of hers hoisted an American flag on his own property.
“I had a boyfriend many years ago, he was my first boyfriend who had his own house, and one day I went outside to see what he was doing, and he was hoisting an American flag up the flagpole in his front yard,” Ms. Silverman said. “And I instantly felt very weird. It didn’t make sense, but I felt … scared.”
The talk-show host said she immediately questioned her boyfriend’s motives, to which he responded, “Um, because I love America?”
“I was like, ‘Right, right, of course,’ but inside I was shaken,” Ms. Silverman recalled.
“I had no idea why I was freaking out,” she said, so she called her sister, a rabbi in Israel, to try to understand her feelings better.
“[My sister] was like, ‘Dude, nationalism is innately terrifying for Jews. Think about it: flags, marching, blind allegiance — these things tend to ring a bell for us,’” she said. “Right. Of course. Duh. It made sense. And it made me realize that the things that terrify some people are the same things that give other people great comfort. It’s like the way the sight of a police car might give some people comfort, for instance, white people.”

Eisenhower at Ohrduf Concentration Camp April 1945

Insane Leftists like Silverman refuse to accept that it was Americans carrying our flag who liberated the Jews from the Nazis.

General Dwight Eisenhower related his experience at the camp to George Marshall, as follows:  ". . .the most interesting--although horrible--sight that I encountered during the trip was a visit to a German internment camp near Gotha [Ohrdruf]. The things I saw beggar description. While I was touring the camp I encountered three men who had been inmates and by one ruse or another had made their escape. I interviewed them through an interpreter.
The visual evidence and the verbal testimony of starvation, cruelty and bestiality were so overpowering as to leave me a bit sick. In one room, where they were piled up twenty or thirty naked men, killed by starvation, George Patton would not even enter. He said that he would get sick if he did so. I made the visit deliberately, in order to be in a position to give first-hand evidence of these things if ever, in the future, there develops a tendency to charge these allegations merely to 'propaganda'.
General George S. Patton described it as "one of the most appalling sights that I have ever seen." He recorded in his diary that In a shed . . . was a pile of about 40 completely naked human bodies in the last stages of emaciation. These bodies were lightly sprinkled with lime, not for the purposes of destroying them, but for the purpose of removing the stench. When the shed was full--I presume its capacity to be about 200, the bodies were taken to a pit a mile from the camp where they were buried. The inmates claimed that 3,000 men, who had been either shot in the head or who had died of starvation, had been so buried since the 1st of January.
When we began to approach with our troops, the Germans thought it expedient to remove the evidence of their crime. Therefore, they had some of the slaves exhume the bodies and place them on a mammoth griddle composed of 60-centimeter railway tracks laid on brick foundations. They poured pitch on the bodies and then built a fire of pinewood and coal under them. They were not very successful in their operations because there was a pile of human bones, skulls, charred torsos on or under the griddle which must have accounted for many hundreds."

Trump & Putin Seek Peace in Syria, Ukraine and North Korea

Peace might break out any second.

  • Peace, oh the "horror" of it all. Be prepared for a burst of even more anti-Russia propaganda from the Corporate Controlled Media Machine as our President tries to make peace rather than war.
  • The Military-Industrial Complex will pressure their bought and paid for lackeys in Congress to step up the already non-stop GOP sponsored Russia election hearings.

The issue of Syria dominated the more than hour-long phone call between the Russian and American presidents. Putin briefed Trump of his recent meeting with Assad, and both leaders agreed on the importance of the UN-led Syrian peace process.
Putin told Trump that President Bashar Assad confirmed his commitment to political reforms in Syria, including constitutional amendments. Assad also supported the idea of holding presidential and parliamentary elections as part of a transitional political process during his Monday meeting with Putin in Sochi reports RT News.
The Russian president informed his US counterpart of the forthcoming meeting between the leaders of Russia, Iran and Turkey aimed at finding ways to further normalize the situation in Syria while contributing to the political process in the Middle Eastern country. The trilateral talks are scheduled for Wednesday, November 22.
Both the parties expressed satisfaction with the phone call, which was practical and informative,” a statement from the Kremlin reads.

The White House said Washington reaffirmed its support for the Joint Statement of the US and Russia issued at the APEC summit on November 11.
“We’re talking very strongly about bringing peace to Syria, very strongly about North Korea, and about Ukraine," Trump told journalists following the phone call with Putin.
The Russian president said a resolution of the Syrian political crisis must be based on the principles of preserving sovereignty, territorial integrity and the independence of Syria. Putin added that Russia has offered to host the Syrian Congress on National Dialogue in Sochi.
Putin again spoke of normalizing bilateral relations, especially when it comes to fighting terrorism. He added that cooperation between Russian and US security services could be of great practical significance. Trump supported Putin's ideas, the Kremlin said.
Putin and Trump agreed that the crisis around the Korean peninsula should be solved through diplomatic means, according to the Kremlin. While discussing the Iranian nuclear program, the Russian president restated Moscow's commitment to the full implementation of the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JPCOA). He also called the agreement “an important factor of regional stability” that also contributes to the global nuclear non-proliferation regime.
Putin and Trump also touched on the terrorist threat and drug production in Afghanistan. Speaking about the situation in Eastern Ukraine, Putin once again underlined that there is no viable alternative other than the full implementation of the Minsk Agreements by all parties to the Ukrainian conflict.
Trump later described his brief encounters with Putin during the summit as “good discussions.” He also slammed those who oppose US rapprochement with Russia, branding them “haters and fools.” He tweeted that “Russia can greatly help” the US in solving many pressing world issues.

U.S. Illegally Arming, Paying Iranian Militants in Iraq

“WAR is a racket. It always has been.
It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives.”
Twice awarded the Medal of Honor

EDITORThe Military-Industrial Complex has armed both the Islamists and ISIS. Then we arm those those fighting ISIS. Death and profits. But I am just a "crazy blogger".

(Washington Free Beacon)  -  The United States has been illegally training, arming, and funding Iranian-controlled militant forces in Iraq, according to a delegation of lawmakers who accused the Trump administration on Wednesday of violating a law barring such activity.
Information provided to lawmakers and viewed by the Free Beacon appears to show Iranian-controlled militants in Iraq using American-provided weaponry, including M1 Abrams tanks, which would require specific training from U.S. forces.
Lawmakers provided additional photographs of what they claim are Iranian-backed fighters cashing in on U.S. military training programs in Iraq during a press conference organized by Rep. Ron DeSantis (R., Fla.) outside of the Capitol.
The lawmakers cited this as a direct violation of the Leahy Law, which bars U.S. military assistance to foreign forces that violate human rights, and called on the Trump administration to immediately take steps to halt these programs.
In a show of support, Iraqi Hezbollah scouts parade with a portrait of Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Iran's most violent proxy militia in Iraq has vowed to start killing Americans again once the Islamic State is expelled. (Associated Press/File)  More . . .

Each of the lawmakers, experts, and military veterans in attendance at the press conference urged the Trump administration to cease aiding these Iranian militias and take greater steps to arm and support Kurdish forces in Iraq, who have long served as an ally of the U.S. in the region.
Rep. Duncan Hunter (R., Calif.), a Marine veteran who served in Iraq, displayed pictures of what he claimed were Iranian-backed Hezbollah militants in Iraq driving an American-provided M1 Abrams tank.
"A picture is worth 1,000 words," Hunter said. "There is an M1 Abrams tank with a Hezbollah flag. I don't care what the State Department says, they can't argue with this."
Hunter and others criticized the State Department and senior officials who carried over from the former Obama administration for continuing to push policies that embolden the Iranians.
Lawmakers singled out Brett McGurk, the Special Presidential Envoy for the Global Coalition to Counter ISIS, as playing a key role in enabling policies that help arm Iranian backed forces.

McGurk, also a senior official in the Obama administration, has long been viewed as a controversial figure due to his 2008 affair with a Wall Street Journal reporter while the pair were stationed in Iraq.
"At the best the State Department has been derelict in their duties, and at the worst they've been complicit with helping the Iranians take back what I, and my brothers in arms, fought for," Hunter said.
The lawmakers also displayed pictures of what he claimed was Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps Commander Qasem Soleimani with top U.S.-backed Iraqi militia leaders.
"Here's the IRGC commander with the militias that we’re equipping and training and sending into combat," Hunter said, adding that these forces are moving on America's Kurdish allies.
"We're equipping and training the wrong people," Hunter said. "The State Department is going to lose us Iraq again, in one of the worst ways."
The current training policies are helping Iran gain control over the region and aiding its pursuit of a land bridge through Syria.
"They're going to be able to drive M1 tanks from Iran to the Israeli border south of Damascus if we don't do something to stop this," Hunter warned, adding that, in his view, President Donald Trump is not aware of how dire the situation currently is.
"This has to get above the State Department," he said. "I don't think President Trump knows what's going on here. I don't think he's seen this picture of his tank, as Commander in Chief, with the Hezbollah flag on it."
Hunter was more confident that State was aware of the situation, however.
"I guarantee you the State Department knows what's going on and its time for them to get their heads out of the sand," he said.
