(Infowars)  Footage out of Pakistan purports to show thousands of residents lined up to receive a Covid-19 vaccine after the government in two provinces implemented measures to block cell service for the unvaccinated.

The video shows a man driving down a street passing by a mile-long line of vehicles supposedly queued up to receive the vaccine.

“Since last night thousands of people lining up to get vaccinated in Karachi, Pakistan after Govt. decision to block phone SIM for unvaccinated,” the footage, being promoted on Twitter, is captioned.

Two months ago, the governments of the Punjab and Sindh provinces called for plans to block phone service for unvaccinated people, claiming too many were refusing to get vaccinated despite a rise in Covid delta variant cases.

“At first this was only a proposal, but people have been very hesitant in getting vaccinated so the decision was made,” a spokesman for the Punjab Primary Health department stated in June, not noting a specific date the decision would go into effect.

“The government is trying its best to facilitate people in getting the vaccine,” Sindh information minister Syed Nasi Hussain Shah told the New York Times.

Ahead of the cell phone shut-off, Pakistanis complained life without a phone would be hard, but said they also feared the vaccine.

“It will be hard for me if I can’t use my phone, but I am very scared about the vaccine,” one worker in Lahore told France24.com in June.

A truck driver in Karachi told the Times no one in his 25-member family will take the jab because he’s heard vaccinated people may die in the coming months.

“I have heard that people, after getting the coronavirus jab, will die within the two years…It is the reason that in our extended family of at least 25 people, no one is willing to vaccinate themselves.”

“You can’t force someone to get vaccinated,” lamented one vaccinated teacher, adding, “It makes me a little suspicious.”

The head of Pakistani’s Young Doctor’s Association, Salman Haseeb, insultingly told AFP he believed the public was too stupid to decide whether the vaccine is good for them, saying, “Pakistan’s education level is low. People are also spreading rumors and misinformation about the vaccines.”

Additionally, the Sindh government has also stopped paying unvaccinated government workers in efforts to pressure them into getting vaccinated.

Michelle Malkin warned of legal repercussions by Twitter over four-year-old tweet of Muhammad cartoons

(Infowars)  -  Conservative commentator Michelle Malkin received a notice from Twitter’s legal team Wednesday, warning that she may wish to seek legal counsel over a four-year-old tweet the social media site says “is in violation of Pakistani law.”

“Here’s the notice Twitter’s legal dept sent me last week, warning me to get legal counsel because anti-blasphemy Muslim zealots complained that my Mohammed Cartoons tweet violates Pakistan’s laws,” Malkin wrote.

In defiance of Pakistani law and in support of free speech, see the forbidden images below.

This is only the latest example of blatant hypocrisy from Twitter as conservatives are disproportionately targeted while pornography, death threats and other clear violations of the site’s terms of service are ignored.

Malkin isn’t the only one being targeted as multiple Twitter users have recently been contacted by Twitter’s legal team regarding posts about Islam.

In an interview with Big League Politics, Malkin explained, “Over the past few months, several other prominent critics of Islamic extremism have received similar warning letters from Twitter’s legal department, including Saudi-Canadian activist Ensaf Haidar, the wife of imprisoned Saudi blogger Raif Badawi; Imam Mohammad Tawhidi, an Iranian-born Muslim scholar and reform advocate from Australia; Jamie Glazov, a Russian-born Canadian columnist who just released a new book called “Jihadist Psychopath”; and Pamela Geller, an anti-jihad blogger and activist.”

In November of 2018, conservative activist Laura Loomer was banned from Twitter for criticizing Muslim Democrat Ilhan Omar’s support of female genital mutilation.

Malkin could be the next conservative to be permanently kicked off the platform as she is refusing to cower to the site’s intimidation tactics.

She writes, “As a US citizen subject to AMERICA’S laws—NOT Pakistan’s or Mohammed’s—I’ll now retweet my Mo cartoons & columns to 2.1 million followers every day & stand with free speech & free thought.”

(Op-ed RT News)  -  Pakistan is making important strides in its military and naval capacities with the help of China, relying less on US-made weaponry. Despite accepting money from all sides, Pakistan’s relationship with China continues to be strong.

After the Trump administration decided to suspend $3 billion in security assistance to Pakistan, complaining that Islamabad fails to do enough to combat terrorism, Washington has risked pushing Pakistan into the open arms of a number of other notable nations.

China has been a key ally for Pakistan in recent times and is almost certainly the reason why the US has taken a sharp turn in its approach to dealing with the country. (Considering that the Bush administration was caught red-handed funding Pakistani terrorist groups, Washington’s recent disdain for Islamabad makes little sense in the context of wider US imperialism).

Now, China is assisting Pakistan’s Navy to expand rapidly, with the completion and delivery of four advanced warships currently under construction in Shanghai. According to the Diplomat, Pakistan’s Chinese-made naval vessels will arrive through a bilateral arms agreement by 2021. Worth over $348 million, these frigates have the capacity to act as anti-ship and anti-submarine operations, as well as for air defense.

Reports seem to indicate that these ships are to be stationed for defense and security in and around the Gwadar port. This is the same port that many media outlets accused China of attempting to hijack and transform into its own naval base. 

Perhaps the media sounding the alarm over these reports have helped convince China to try a subtler strategy of creating a naval presence around this strategic area, but either way, the move to acquire Chinese naval ships is sure to irk the United States irrespective of the end result, as some experts are predicting that this will lead to regular Sino-Pakistani patrols across the region.

Unfortunately for Washington, Pakistani purchases of US-made military equipment have begun to fall. Data from the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute appears to show that US weapons exports to Pakistan dropped from $21 million in 2017, from a whopping $1 billion just seven years prior. Altogether, since the September 11 attacks, the US has provided over $22 billion in overt security aid to Pakistan and another $10 billion in economic aid, according to a July 2018 report conducted by consultant firm Avascent.

However, despite these initial findings, this same report found that Pakistan was increasingly turning to Beijing for its defense equipment and leaving Washington out in the sand. In total, Pakistan has signed billions of dollars’ worth of contracts for fighter aircraft, submarines and warships from China. 

The report estimated that over the next decade, Beijing will become the single most important arms supplier for the Pakistani military, but maintains options to obtain arms from Turkey and Russia as well. Turkey, for its part, will upgrade two of Pakistan’s Agosta 90B-class submarines, will provide four MILGEM corvettes to the Pakistani Navy, and already provided a navy fleet tanker in 2016.

Pakistan is also reportedly the largest importer of the F-7PG aircraft from China, with more than 50 F-7PG fighters in the Pakistan Air Force (one of these planes just recently crashed in Western Pakistan, killing the pilot).

(WND)  -  Hundreds of protests have been held throughout Pakistan by Muslims threatening destruction and murder if the nation’s Supreme Court doesn’t order the execution of a Christian woman who gave her coworkers water.

Asia Bibi, represented by the American Center for Law and Justice, has been charged with blasphemy against Islam’s prophet, Muhammad.

“She was asked to fetch water, but the Muslim women objected, saying that as a non-Muslim she was unfit to touch the water bowl,” ACLJ said. “The women went to a local cleric and accused Bibi of blasphemy against the prophet, a charge punishable by death under legislation that rights groups say is routinely abused to settle personal vendettas.”

Her case was heard on appeal Oct. 8 before the Pakistani Supreme Court, and the world awaits the decision.

Pakistan never has executed someone for blasphemy, but a number of defendants have been killed by mobs.

Now, Tufail Ahmad, a senior fellow for the Middle East Media Research Institute’s Islamism and Counter-Radicalization Initiative, is writing about the threats and violence from Muslims.

The protests have taken place in an estimated 200 towns and cities, often immediately after Friday prayers at mosques.

“Religious clerics … who addressed the rallies in these towns vowed to continue their protests until the Supreme Court delivers its judgment and to oppose any attempt to amend Pakistan’s blasphemy laws,” Ahmad wrote. “Should the court verdict be lenient against Asia Bibi, they warned of countrywide chakka jaam – laying siege to traffic, a form of protests in South Asia where protesters stop, attack and burn vehicles.”

Pakistani media reported the protest leaders also took pledges from activists and the public to offer any sacrifice of life and wealth.

Ahmad cited one report that said “the lovers of Prophet Muhammad were seen to be extremely agitated and were demanding that the blasphemer Asia be hanged.”

The protests are being led by the Islamic party Tehreek-e-Labbaik Ya Rasool Allah.

The group’s emir for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province said: “The purpose of this protest is to raise awareness that if any such judgment is delivered in this sensitive case that grants concessions to the blasphemer Asia, then we will protest all over the country. We will jam [lay siege to traffic] the country and the entire responsibility of it will be on the government.”

The panel of Supreme Court judges included Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar, Justice Asif Saeed Khosa and Justice Mazhar Alam Khan Miankhel.

The leader of Tehreek Labbaik Ya Rasool Allah, Maulvi Khadim Hussain Rizvi, led a three-week siege of Islamabad in November 2017 that forced then Pakistani law minister Zahid Hamid to resign.

In Punjab, activists against Bibi moved from the Data Darbar shrine under the direction of Rizvi.

“We will not compromise [any attack] on the honor of the prophet,” he told the crowd.

Pakistan once again denied accusations that it harbors jihadists, this time shifting the blame towards Hollywood, saying America’s movie maker is “the biggest hub of pornography and terrorism,” reports Dawn.

Islamabad’s strict High Court (IHC) declared, “The biggest hub of pornography and terrorism is Hollywood and Los Angeles. Hollywood plays a central role in inciting of crimes, and then our madrassas (seminaries) are blamed.”

IHC Justice Siddiqui indicated that “a bulk of the blame for the global proliferation of pornographic content and terrorism lies with Hollywood—the metonymic moniker of American cinema,” notes Dawn.

The Pentagon has long accused Pakistan of serving as a sanctuary for terrorists who are killing and injuring American troops in neighboring Afghanistan, a charge that Islamabad denies.

Nevertheless, U.S. President Donald Trump has ramped up pressure on Pakistan to stop supporting terrorists, suspending up to $1.9 billion in aid until Islamabad takes decisive action against the groups.

The accusations against Hollywood came after the IHC, which holds disdain towards American movies and videos as venues to promote violence and pornography, mandated Islamabad to submit an assessment of action the country can take to stop the spread of pornography within its borders.

The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has reportedly censured more than 200 websites and 22,210 web pages.

Besides just targeting the dissemination of pornography in Pakistan, Dawn notes:

The Ministry of Information Technology also submitted in the court a draft of its proposed changes to the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (Peca), 2016, aimed at bringing blasphemy and pornography within the ambit of cybercrime laws.

In recent months, Pakistan has been trying to use its controversial anti-blasphemy law, which is used mainly to punish religious minority groups like Christians, to target those who allegedly insult to God, Islam or religious leaders online, particularly on social media.

Pakistan’s penal code recommends either life imprisonment or death for any convicted blasphemer.

(Daily Mail)  -  The United States said Tuesday that it was withholding $255 million in aid to Pakistan as punishment for the country's support for terrorism.

Nikki Haley, U.S. Ambassador to the U.N., announced the deprivation at a media avail where she stressed that the action was not related to Pakistan's vote for a resolution condemning the United States' decision to relocate its embassy and declare Jerusalem the capital of Israel.

'It is entirely connected to Pakistan's harboring of terrorists,' she said from the United Nations. 'However, as I said in December, we won't forget the Jerusalem vote.'

President Trump had previewed the aid slash in a tweet on Monday that said the U.S. had 'foolishly' given Pakistan $33 billion and received 'lies & deceit' in return.

Pakistan then summoned the U.S. ambassador to the country, David Hale, for a meeting, and Pakistani Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif claimed Trump's outburst was non-consequential.

'He has tweeted against us (Pakistan) and Iran for his domestic consumption,' Asif told Geo TV on Monday. 'He is again and again displacing his frustrations on Pakistan over failures in Afghanistan as they are trapped in dead-end street in Afghanistan.'

Trump's administration had been threatening to keep the $255 million over Pakistan's alleged ties to the Haqqani network, known associates of the Afghan Taliban, since August.

It informed Congress then that it would freeze the payment until Pakistan cracked down more heavily on terrorism. 

'We have been paying Pakistan billions and billions of dollars at the same time they are housing the very terrorists that we are fighting. But that will have to change, and that will change immediately,' Trump said in an August speech announcing a new strategy to combat terror in Afghanistan.

(PJ Media)  -  Vice President Mike Pence made a surprise visit to Afghanistan last week, during which he had strong words for our putative friend and ally Pakistan.

Bravo, vice president: It’s about time Pakistan received pressure from a U.S. administration.

“For too long,” Pence said, “has Pakistan provided safe haven to the Taliban and many terrorist organizations, but those days are over. … President Trump has put Pakistan on notice. As the president said, so I say now: Pakistan has much to gain from partnering with the United States, and Pakistan has much to lose by continuing to harbor criminals and terrorists.”

Yet they are still doing this. The Pakistani government just weeks ago released Hafiz Saeed from house arrest. Saeed was the mastermind of the 2008 Mumbai jihad massacre; he had a $10M U.S. bounty on his head.

Despite being our “ally,” the Pakistani government didn’t release Saeed into U.S. custody, but to freedom and the adulation of his jihad-supporting countrymen and Muslims in India. Saeed is immensely popular in Pakistan, which may be why the Islamic Republic ignored U.S. calls to re-arrest Saeed.

If they had arrested him again, Pakistan could have faced even more riots by Islamic hardliners. Pakistani government officials are still reeling from the recent riots in Islamabad in which six people were killed and 200 wounded, as Islamic supremacists demanded the arrest of a government official on blasphemy charges.

Financial Times reported in September that “the Trump administration is considering dropping Pakistan as an ally as it examines tough measures to quell more than 20 terrorist groups it says are based in the country.” President Trump needs to follow through on this.

Trump has accused the Pakistani government of “housing the very terrorists that we are fighting.”

(Times of India)  -  Pakistan Air Force (PAF) chief Sohail Aman said here on Thursday that he has ordered his force to shoot down any drones, including those of the US, if they violate the country's airspace.



The announcement was made public about two weeks after a US drone strike targeted a militant compound in Pakistan's tribal region near the Afghan border, killing three militants.



Pakistan had always condemned drone strikes on its soil but had never said they would shoot down the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). "We will not allow anyone to violate our airspace. I have ordered PAF to shoot down drones, including those of the US, if they enter our airspace, violating the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity," Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman told an audience in Islamabad.



If he meant that US missile strikes on militant positions were a violation of Pakistan's sovereignty, then these violations have been occurring since 2004. The CIA was responsible for all US drone strikes in Pakistan until November 30, 2017.



After every drone strike, the Pakistan foreign office issues a condemnatory statement claiming that it will not allow such strikes on its territory.



Hundreds of civilians, according to media reports, including women and children, as well as many senior members of terrorist groups have perished in these attacks. The status of many more people remains unknown.

Muslim Police beat 14 year old Christian to death

(PJ Media)  -  Pakistani police burst into a classroom last week, dragged 14-year-old Arsalan Masih out, and beat him to death in what appears to be the latest sectarian lynching targeting Pakistan's besieged Christian minority.

The murder happened in a village in the Punjab province where 300-400 Christian families live:

Two similar attacks targeting Christian children in August illustrate the escalating violence that, at best, seems tacitly endorsed by Pakistani authorities. Morning Star News spoke with the father of Arsalan Masih after last week's attack, who described how seven police officers murdered his son:

“Arsalan was attending his tuition classes at the Ideal Science Academy when Head Constable Imtiaz, Driver Rashid, Constable Arshad and some other unidentified policemen kicked open the door and dragged him out of the classroom,” Masih said. 

“Sardar, alias Billu, a police constable, helped them to identify the boy. With this, they all started beating Arsalan with fists, kicks and rifle butts.” 

Teacher Farhan Ali tried to stop the assault, but the officers shoved and slapped him and continued beating the boy, Masih said. 

“Rashid struck Arsalan’s head with a pistol, and he started bleeding,” he said. “When they bundled him into the police van, Arsalan collapsed and died. Later the police team threw Arsalan’s body on the roadside and fled.” 

Numerous bystanders witnessed the assault, but the policemen threatened them if they intervened, he added. 

Four months ago Arsalan had fought with a Muslim boy after the classmate tried to bully him into renouncing his Christian faith, said Masih, a member of the Presbyterian Church in Pakistan.

A case has been opened against the police officers involved, but none have been arrested.

This case bears similarities to the murder of another Christian student in Punjab province, 17-year-old Sharoon Masih, in August. According to reports, Sharoon was the only Christian in his school, and he was beaten to death by his classmates for drinking from the same water glass after one of his Muslim classmates.

His teacher claimed he didn't hear the students beating him to death as he read a newspaper. A new student to his school, Sharoon had previously been harassed by students demanding he convert to Islam.

Earlier in August, another Christian teenager was nearly beaten to death by a mob after being accused of burning a Quran. The victim, 16-year-old Asif Masih, is in jail facing the death penalty after being charged with blasphemy on the accusation from an imam.

Pakistan's blasphemy statute is regularly used to target religious minorities to settle personal disputes and to harass perceived "infidels."
