President Donald Trump has ordered the US military to take direct actions against Latin American cartels, including conducting operations on foreign soil. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has labeled Venezuelan President Maduro the leader of a cartel and is offering a $50 million reward for his capture. 

The New York Times reports, “President Trump has secretly signed a directive to the Pentagon to begin using military force against certain Latin American drug cartels that his administration has deemed terrorist organizations.”

The Times adds, “The order provides an official basis for the possibility of direct military operations at sea and on foreign soil against cartels.”

The Mexican government rejected a proposal from Trump earlier this year that would have allowed the US military to target cartels in Mexico. The Times notes the CIA is currently conducting surveillance flights over Mexico. 

Congress has not authorized Trump to attack cartels, so any military actions would be unconstitutional. However, the President and Congress have long ignored the Constitutional process for war-making.

(Zerohedge)  The US has just confirmed it conducted a second round of major airstrikes in Syria since the Gaza war began, which the Pentagon has described as retaliation for a recent series of attacks by "Iran-linked" militias against US troops in the country's east:

U.S. fighter jets conducted “a self-defense strike” at a weapons storage facility in Syria that was being used by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said Wednesday.

The strike in eastern Syria was carried out at President Joe Biden’s direction, Austin said in a statement.

“This precision self-defense strike is a response to a series of attacks against U.S. personnel in Iraq and Syria by IRGC-Quds Force affiliates,” Austin said.

At this point the Pentagon has cited that 46 US service members have been injured over the past month of attacks inside Iraq and Syria, most with 'traumatic brain injuries'.

"Threads" Blocks Search Results For 'COVID' And 'Vaccines'

(Zerohedge)  Threads, Meta's recent competitor to Twitter, is facing harsh criticism for blocking search results for terms related to the pandemic, including vaccines.

The new text platform, which is linked to Instagram, rolled out its new search function last week, a major step towards giving it more parity with X, formerly known as Twitter.

After Threads' July release, Meta has been rolling out several much needed updates in recent weeks, including a requested desktop version and user search functionality.

However, within 24 hours of the recent update, the social media giant was hit with controversy, as the new search function proved useless for those wanting to look for posts related to the COVID-19, reported The Washington Post.

Threads Users Shocked to Find Search Results Blocked

Many users were upset when their search on Threads for content related to “COVID” and “vaccines” was met with a blank screen and a pop-up redirecting them to the website of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

"Zuck treats users like children. He gets to decide what they will see and talk about. This is reason alone enough to reject Threads and embrace X," said Michael Robertson, a tech CEO, in a post on X.

Meta confirmed its search policy restrictions in a press statement, saying that the text platform is blocking users from searching for words that could bring up “sensitive” posts, for now.

“The search functionality temporarily doesn’t provide results for keywords that may show potentially sensitive content,” it said.

“People will be able to search for keywords such as ‘COVID’ in future updates once we are confident in the quality of the results.”

Meta acknowledged that Threads was intentionally blocking other terms but declined to provide a list of them.

A search by The Washington Post discovered that the words “sex,” “nude,” “gore,” “porn,” “coronavirus,” “vaccines,” and “vaccination” were also among blocked terms.

(PC Mag)  -  Social network Parler has partially returned with the help of a Russian-owned technology company, Reuters reported. The website and app were forced offline last week when host Amazon Web Services (AWS) suspended access.

The social network appears to have found that provider in DDos-Guard, an internet infrastructure services provider known for working with companies hosting controversial content, including 8kun (previously 8chan); it also supports Russian government sites, according to Reuters. DDoS-Guard's web page lists an address in Scotland, under the title Cognitive Cloud LP. 

But, as infrastructure expert Ronald Guilmette told the news outlet, it's actually owned by two men in Rostov-on-Don, Russia.

Conservative commentator and Parler investor Dan Bongino returned to the social network on Monday, promising that "We will NEVER stop fighting. NEVER. This fight is bigger than me, and it's bigger than Parler. If they're allowed to silence us, they can silence anyone. It stops now. Please stand with us in this fight for liberty, truth, and freedom."

The Conservative wing of the new internet media strongly backed Trump. 

But Trump and the GOP sat back and allowed Leftist scum in Silicon Valley to deplatform or shadowban Conservative outlet after Conservative outlet.

With internet Conservative media nearly crushed that allowed the corrupt old line corporate media to attack Trump 24-7 for 4 years with almost no meaningful reply.

Another factor. The cowards in the GOP refused to stand up against the closing of churches, businesses, entire states being put under house arrest and the censorship of opposing COVID views. In fact many "Conservative" GOP Governors joined in on the unconstitutional lockdowns.

Vimeo claimed that Project Veritas had uploaded videos that were “hateful, defamatory or discriminatory”.

In reality, O’Keefe’s crime was to embarrass Big Tech and once again prove they are engaging in election meddling and partisan censorship under the guise of patrolling “hate”.

The ban occurred hot on the heels of YouTube removing a Project Veritas video that featured a Google executive admitting the company is doing everything in its power to stop President Trump winning re-election.

A federal judge on Friday ordered Roger Stone, his attorneys and special counsel Robert Mueller to stop talking publicly about their case involving charges the longtime Donald Trump associate lied to Congress and obstructed its Russia investigation.

U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson in a four-page order sided with Mueller that Stone and his attorneys “must refrain from making statements to the media or in public settings that pose a substantial likelihood of material prejudice to this case.” 

She also ordered lawyers and potential witnesses to refrain from commenting to the press when they enter or exit the D.C. courthouse where Stone is on track to go to trial later this summer or fall.

Banning anyone for guilt by association with Infowars and Alex Jones, Facebook has scored a victory for censorship.

Roger Stone was able to reach too many people on this alternative outlet, combatting heavily censored propaganda from mainstream media outlets.

The only way for the elite to stop the message of truth from getting out is to silence it.

Alex Jones is patient zero in the war on information while censorship of political voices has been sold to the public as a purge of unwanted information.

By accepting this, the public is signing a death warrant on the First Amendment.
