Conservatives hold Julian Assange Prisoner

The Conservative Police State

  • Britain's "Conservative" government has done everything possible to destroy Internet newspaper publisher Julian Assange for the crime of telling the truth.

(Washington Examiner)  -  Wikileaks founder Julian Assange was denied a request from the Ecuadorian government to provide him diplomatic status by the United Kingdom, a move which may have helped him leave the country without being apprehended by authorities.
“The government of Ecuador recently requested diplomatic status for Mr Assange here in the UK,” a Foreign and Commonwealth Office spokesperson said, according to the Guardian.” The UK did not grant that request, nor are we in talks with Ecuador on this matter. Ecuador knows that the way to resolve this issue is for Julian Assange to leave the embassy to face justice.”
Assange has resided at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London since 2012 and recent reports suggest that Assange has become a citizen of Ecuador.
If Assange had been granted the status of a diplomat, many believe Assange would receive certain legal immunity rights and could potentially leave the embassy and eventually the United Kingdom without being arrested.
Assange could be arrested for violating bail conditions if he leaves the embassy. Assange had faced other allegations, including a rape claim, but Swedish prosecutors halted their investigation in 2017.
WikiLeaks has expressed concern that if he leaves the embassy, the U.S. will seek his extradition amid talks that there could be a sealed indictment demanding he be arrested. In April of 2017 the Washington Post reported that the Justice Department was considering charges against Assange and WikiLeaks.

Assange under political persecution says Ecuador

The Political Man in the Iron Mask
Comrade Obama ordered his minions in Britain
to hold Assange at a cost of £11,000 a day.

(RT News)  -  WikiLeaks co-founder Julian Assange has always been under political persecution without any real charges, the Ecuadorian foreign minister told RT, calling for a prompt decision by the UK to grant him safe passage.

Ecuador has always been convinced that Assange was holed up in their London embassy, not because of the Swedish investigation, but due to political persecution over the publications of WikiLeaks.

“We always had suspicions of possible political persecution against Assange and now we see that we were right,” Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ecuador Guillaume Long said in an interview to RT Spanish on Saturday. “Ecuador was right, there was a much more disturbing political background.”
Long said that Ecuador was pleased to hear the news of Sweden dropping its inquiry into the Assange case, but it came too late, as there were no “charges against Assange and there are none of them now.”

He now hopes that Britain will allow Assange to go free, as there are only “minor charges that do not require any complicated procedures and can be settled with a suspended sentence.” He added that such cases are quickly dealt with in Britain “if there is a will for it.”
“What is now happening in Britain is the direct consequence of the case opened by Stockholm.”
“With the end of the case in Sweden, it is necessary to give him a safe passage from the United Kingdom so that he could leave the country,” Long said, stressing that the WikiLeaks co-founder “already has paid a very heavy penalty.”
Meanwhile, London’s Metropolitan Police said that Assange will still be arrested if he leaves the embassy. He remains wanted “for failing to surrender to the court” back in 2012.
Assange still is under the protection of the Ecuadorian Embassy, as there is a threat that he can be persecuted by the US due to his whistleblowing activity.
“They want to detain Assange, which confirms that we were right that there was political persecution against him because of his journalistic work,” Long said. He recalled that Trump wanted to arrest Assange, while CIA Director Mike Pompeo called WikiLeaks a “hostile intelligence service.” US authorities have been investigating Assange and WikiLeaks activities for around seven years, after the website released classified US data.
“We have seen in recent weeks that the United States suddenly begins talking of a trial against him, like the one over Chelsea Manning, who has luckily been freed,” he said.
The situation “did not bring anything good” to the UK, according to Long. Assange’s five-year stay in the embassy cost British citizens a hefty sum. The Ecuadorian Embassy was surrounded by security forces which cost £12 million ($15.6 million) in just the first three years, making it roughly £11,000 a day according to British media.

Wikileaks: John Kerry cut off Julian Assange's Internet

Welcome to the Police State

  • The corrupt whore John Kerry used the power of the State Department to cut the Internet to protect the Hildabeast.
  • Special Alert  -  Note that the corrupt GOP is silent and refuses to defend Assange or even defend a free Internet. Wikileaks may be attacking Democrats today, but the Republican Elites have no interest in allowing Assange to be free. Someday he will be exposing their backroom corrupt deals.

(Breitbart)  -  The organization Wikileaks is claiming that U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry personally pressured the government of Ecuador to cut its founder Julian Assange’s internet access, preventing further publication of private emails from the account of Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta.
On Tuesday, the Wikileaks Twitter account accused Kerry of using his position as head of the State Department to demand that the leftist South American government disconnect Assange’s internet access. Assange has lived in the Ecuadorian embassy in London for the past four years. If true, Kerry’s authority to make such a request would be dubious, as the hacked emails in question are not government correspondence, but private emails by partisan political campaign officials.
According to Wikileaks, Kerry met with “Ecuador” – potentially President Rafael Correa – in September and requested they shut down Assange’s operation out of their embassy.

Obama teaches immigrants how to sue employers

(Washington Examiner)  -  The Justice Department announced Friday that it had signed a pledge with Ecuador to teach immigrants from that country how to file complaints charging discrimination based on their citizenship status. The pledge, called a "memorandum of understanding," makes no disctinction between those legally living in the country and those who are not.
"The signing of today's historic [memorandum of understanding] marks a critical stride of progress in the dynamic partnership between our countries," said Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General Vanita Gupta. "Together, we will continue to advance our shared commitment to empowering workers, combating unlawful discrimination and protecting the rights of our people."
The pledge requires the Justice Department to work with Ecuadorian officials to provide its nationals with "access to education and training resources" to help them understand how to file complaints under the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act, which prohibits discrimination based on immigration status. The agreement requires the department to work with country's officials to create a referral system for allegations of discrimination and retaliation by employers.
The announcement said the deal "seeks to empower work-authorized Ecuadorians in the United States." However, nothing in the memorandum itself specifies "work authorized" or otherwise limits it to Ecuadorian nationals legally residing in the U.S.
