A Little Monday Music - Marching Through Georgia

Back When Men Were Real Men

  • Election day is here and I think a lot about 1861 when Patriots went toe to toe with Traitors in order to save our Republic.
  • Trump is standing firm. But the other so-called "leaders" of the GOP are either Quislings or ball-less and spineless pond scum who are frightened of their on shadow.
  • Are there any real men left to save America?

Hurrah! Hurrah! we bring the jubilee!
Hurrah! Hurrah! the flag that makes you free!
So we sang the chorus from Atlanta to the sea
While we were marching through Georgia.

In the beauty of the lilies, Christ was born across the sea
With a glory in his bosom that transfigures you and me
As he died to make men holy, let us live to make men free
.

Battle Hymn of the Republic

"I have heard, in such way as to believe it, of your recently saying that both the Army and the Government needed a Dictator. Of course it was not for this, but in spite of it, that I have given you the command. Only those generals who gain successes, can set up dictators. What I now ask of you is military success, and I will risk the dictatorship."
.
Letter from President Lincoln

to General Joseph Hooker
