Re-elect Rand Paul to the Senate, not President

Sorry Rand, Stay in the Senate
Weakness on foreign policy will sink the campaign.

By Gary;

Rand Paul would be the first person on my list if I was voting for leader of my Libertarian study group in college.

But President?  Sorry it will not happen.  Being an intellectual thinker does not work in Presidential politics.

The average voter has no interest in the intricacies of Frédéric Bastiat, Ayn Rand and Harry Browne.  Hell, the average voter has trouble finding the city they live in on a blank map of the United States.

Unfortunately Presidential campaigns have become dog and pony shows to entertain a mouth-breathing Sheeple public permanently parked in front of their TVs, remote in one hand and the other hand shoved deep in a pizza box.

Rand does not have the personality and gift of gab to dumb down Constitutional and Libertarian ideas to appeal to a mass of Sheeple voters more interested in when the next cable TV reality show comes on.

And Then There is Isolationism . . .

While I believe the U.S. needs to stay out of many internal issues around the world, I am not an isolationist.  Rand, on the other hand, is the son of super isolationist Ron Paul.

We live in a world of some really nasty people who would set off nukes in London or New York without a second thought.  So far Rand has not demonstrated a strong foreign policy vision.  Rand's thoughts have rightly been on Constitutional issues and opposing our Dear Leader's push to create an elected monarchy.

By staying in the Senate Rand can be a major national voice for Constitutional Federalism and also be able to block big government legislation and appointments.

Rand, there is nothing wrong with being a Senator.
