U.S. “piracy” after seizure of oil tanker

"Political power grows out
of the barrel of a gun."

Venezuela accused the United States of "blatant theft" and "international piracy" Wednesday, Dec. 10, after U.S. forces seized a Venezuelan oil tanker in the Caribbean Sea.

The Venezuelan Foreign Ministry condemned the action as part of a broader U.S. strategy to plunder the nation's energy resources, citing President Donald Trump's past remarks about controlling Venezuelan oil.

The incident has escalated tensions between Washington and Caracas, already strained by U.S. sanctions and military operations targeting alleged narcoterrorism in the region.

"This is not about law—it's about power," said a Latin American policy analyst, speaking on condition of anonymity. "The U.S. is leveraging its military dominance to control global energy flows while bypassing multilateral institutions."

There's no Democrats and Republicans

"There are no sides. There's no Sunnis and Shiites. There's no Democrats and Republicans. There's only HAVES and HAVE-NOTS.

This is a country, where the Secretary of Defense can go on T.V., and tell the American public, oh, that "This is about freedom! It's not about oil!" And nobody questions him, cuz they don't wanna hear the answer, because it's a lie."
