Gun Grabber Bloomberg to rig Oregon elections

 "Corruptus in Extremis"
  • Assholes like former GOP Mayor Mike Bloomberg just can't have enough power.  While working on banning soda and guns, Bloomberg now wants to change Oregon elections in order to ban all candidates except Democrats and Republicans.
  • The Elites have already banned small political parties from the California general election ballot.  Voters are given two major party choices only and your write-in vote has been declared illegal and will not be counted.

Former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, one of the country's richest men, is apparently interested in plunking down big money on the initiative that would radically change Oregon's primary election system.

Jim Kelly, the chief sponsor of the initiative that would create a "top two" nonpartisan primary open to all voters, said he is confident of gaining support from Bloomberg after two strategists connected to the former mayor visited Portland last week to talk to sponsors.

Translation  -  The corrupt Elites want to reduce voter choices on the November ballot by effectively banning all independents and small opposition political parties from the ballot.

"I think we have every reason to expect we will get support from him," said Kelly, calling it a "legacy issue for Michael Bloomberg," reports the Oregonian.

There was no word on how much Bloomberg might contribute to the campaign.  But he has not been afraid to invest heavily in issues that attract his attention.  For example, earlier this year, he announced that he would spend $50 million on efforts to tighten gun laws around the country.

Perhaps more to the point, Bloomberg spent spent $7.5 million in 2003 on a failed effort to persuade voters to make New York City elections nonpartisan, something he later called his most disappointing failure.

The former New York mayor has been at various times a registered Democrat, Republican and independent.

Political consultant Bradley Tusk, who managed Bloomberg's 2009 re-election campaign, visited Portland along with an associate to discuss the effort to revamp the primary, said Kelly.

Under the top-two primary system, candidates would all appear on the same primary ballot, and the top two finishers would advance to the general regardless of party.

Sample of a Free Election
The free election below is something the well connected political
elites want to stamp out by dropping in hundreds of millions in corrupt
campaign cash.  But that is not good enough.  Now the bastards look to
banning all independents and small parties from general election ballots.
