Open borders in America

Bye-Bye National Guard
Comrade Obama has ordered the National Guard to leave the border between Arizona and Mexico.  National Security?  You didn't believe that the government cared did you?

Hundreds of thousands of troops stationed around the world to "protect" other nation's borders, but none on our border.
  • If the army cannot defend our own borders then why does it exist?

The number of National Guard troops on the border between the U.S. and Mexico will be cut by three quarters over the next year, the government has announced.

From next month the force of 1,200 border guards will be reduced to fewer than 300, a Defense Department official said.

The 1,200 troop number was a total joke from day one.  How about taking 50,000 troops from Afghanistan and put them on the Texas border?  If the army cannot defend our own border then why does it exist?

The measure will cost $60 million - compared to $1.35 billion for the deployments so far, an average of over $200million per year reports the UK Daily Mail.

George W. Bush first ordered Guard troops to the southern border from 2006 to 2008, and his successor Barack Obama ordered another round of troops in August 2010.

The second lot were supposed to be in place for about a year, but Obama extended the deployment earlier this year, and the reduced force is now expected to stay until the end of 2012.

Billions spent in Afghanistan.
The U.S. has spent countless trillions to "secure" the borders of Iraq and Afghanistan, but little is done to secure the borders of America from millions of people just walking into the nation.
