Our Black Troops Gave Their All
Over 180,000 African-American men served as soldiers in the Civil War. These soldiers served in all black regiments that later came to be known as the United States Colored Troops.

If we are going to play the reperations game then I have a modest proposal. Let's have the families of ex-slaves pay reparations to the families of the Black Union troops who liberated them. It's only fair.
