NATO to deploy more nuclear weapons

The survivors (of a nuclear war) would envy the dead.

Nikita Khrushchev

Putin has offered to sit down and talk peace - - - but peace talks have been rejected by NATO. As George Orwell said, "The war is not meant to be won, it is meant to be continuous."

(Natural News)  The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is considering increasing its deployment of nuclear weapons, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said as he claimed that Russia and China have been threatening that they would not think twice about using their nuclear warheads when needs arise.

"I won't go into operational details about how many nuclear warheads should be operational and which should be stored, but we need to consult on these issues," he claimed while speaking at the NATO headquarters. He claimed that the alliance is considering taking out the weaponry from the storage into standby.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed that the deepening Western involvement in the Ukraine conflict could trigger an escalation and that they are serious about it. However, they "are not brandishing [nuclear weapons]," Putin told his audience at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on June 7. He reiterated that Russia would only consider using nuclear weapons if its sovereignty or territorial integrity were under threat. "I do not believe that is the case now," Putin emphasized. He warned, however, that changes to the doctrine "are not ruled out."

"Beware the beast Man, for he is the Devil's pawn. Alone among God's primates, he kills for sport or lust or greed. Yea, he will murder his brother to possess his brother's land. Let him not breed in great numbers, for he will make a desert of his home and yours. Shun him; drive him back into his jungle lair, for he is the harbinger of death."

Microplastics Discovered in Penises

Microplastics were recently discovered in testicles and sperm samples

Microplastics have been discovered inside male penis tissue for the first time, according to a new scientific study.

Six men experiencing erectile dysfunction had penis samples taken from them, and five contained microplastics.

Seven different kinds of plastic were found.

Microplastics are tiny fragments of plastic, usually invisible to the eye, that have been linked to a whole range of health conditions, from gut dysfunction to heart disease and Alzheimer’s. As well as causing physical damage and inflammation, microplastics. They have been found in virtually every human tissue, from lung and gut tissue, to brain tissue.

Microplastics have also been linked to a worldwide fertility decline that could see mankind unable to reproduce by natural means within decades. If sperm counts fall at current rates, by 2045 the median man may produce no sperm at all, meaning one half of all men will be totally infertile and the other half will produce so few sperm that they are functionally so. Microplastics were recently discovered in testicular samples taken as part of a study, and in 100% of semen samples.

Donald Southerland RIP

Oddball is Gone

By Gary;

Donald Southerland is gone.  He was always there then today he wasn't.

I grew up with him. He made me laugh and made me cry. An extraordinary actor.

He range of films was staggering:  The Dirty Dozen (1967)Kelly's Heroes (1970), Animal House (1978) then fast forward to Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992),  Pride & Prejudice (2005), and The Hunger Games franchise (2012–2015).

Almost 68 years in movies.

Documents declassified in 2017 show that Sutherland was on the National Security Agency watchlist between 1971 and 1973 at the request of the CIA because of his anti-war activities.

Spied on for daring to exercise his Constitutional freedoms.

Thanks for the memories Donald.

Ron Paul: We Spent a Billion Dollars Fighting the Houthis…and Lost

Guerrilla warfare is hard to stamp out. But is the Military-Industrial Complex even interested in victory? Victory means the end of billions of dollars flowing into their bank accounts.

By Dr. Ron Paul

Why does it seem the Pentagon is far better at spending money than actually putting together a successful operation

The failed “Operation Prosperity Guardian” and the disastrous floating Gaza pier are but two recent examples of enormously expensive initiatives that, though they no-doubt enriched military contractors, were incapable of meeting their stated goals.

To great fanfare, last December the Pentagon announced the launch of Operation Prosperity Guardian, a joint US/UK military operation to halt the Yemeni Houthi disruption of Israel-linked commercial shipping through the Red Sea. The Houthis announced their policy in response to civilian deaths in Israel’s war on Gaza, but when the US and UK military became involved they announced they would target US and UK shipping as well.

The operation was supposed to be quick and easy. After all, the rag-tag Houthi militia was no match for the mighty US and UK navies. But it didn’t work out that way at all. Over the weekend the Wall Street Journal published a devastating article revealing that after spending more than one billion dollars on munitions alone, the operation had failed to deter the Houthis and failed to re-open commercial shipping in the Red Sea.

Lexington and Concord

The Military-Industrial Complex fails to understand, or just does not give a shit, about American history. Small bands of farmer-soldiers made life a living Hell for the British army. . . . just like against the Americans in Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia and so many more nations.

The Journal reported that Avril Haines, the director of national intelligence, recently told Congress that “the U.S.-led effort has been insufficient to deter the militant group’s targeting of ships and that the threat will ‘remain active for some time.’”

Meanwhile, the article informed us that a continued US effort to fight the Houthis over Red Sea shipping was “not sustainable.”

Perhaps the most revealing part of the article comes from a Washington military expert, Emily Harding of CSIS: “Their supply of weapons from Iran is cheap and highly sustainable, but ours is expensive, our supply chains are crunched, and our logistics tails are long.”

It is reminiscent of a recollection by Col. Harry G. Summers of a discussion he had with North Vietnamese Col. Tu: “You know, you never defeated us on the battlefield,” said Summers. Tu paused for a moment, then replied, “That may be so. But it is also irrelevant.”

Similarly, the US military spent a quarter of a billion dollars building a temporary floating pier to deliver aid to the starving Palestinians even though a land route already existed and would have been far cheaper to use. The project was doomed from the beginning, as days after opening stormy weather broke up the pier and washed part of it up on Israel’s shore. The US military managed to gather the pieces together again, but in total only a few aid trucks managed to use it before, over the weekend, the pier was again disassembled for fear of another weather-related break-up.

The only thing the pier was good for, it seems, was assisting the Israeli military in a Gaza raid on June 8th that killed 270 Palestinian civilians.

The British spent mountains of money sending ammo and troops half way around the world. Meanwhile the Americans spent next to nothing shooting Red Coats in the back from behind a tree.
