Government tip: Drink water if you're thirsty

Retard Alert!
The morons in the Democrat run USDA say
drinking water helps if you are thirsty.

(Washington Examiner)  -  The U.S. Department of Agriculture has put together a webpage offering people instructions on how much water to drink, which includes the advice that people should drink to "quench your thirst throughout the day."
The tipsheet starts by saying people should drink water instead of sugary sodas or sports drinks. But how much water should people drink?
"Let your thirst be your guide," the tipsheet says.
"A healthy body can balance water needs throughout the day," it added. "Drink plenty of water if you are very active, live or work in hot conditions, or are an older adult."
Water in particular is good for people because it means fewer calories and is usually cheaper than other drinks. The department admitted that sometimes, "water just won't do," but said in those cases, try to cut back on other drinks, except for milk and a little fruit juice.
Still, USDA said parents should "have ready-to-go containers filled with water or healthy drinks available in the refrigerator."
"Place them in lunch boxes or backpacks for easy access when kids are away from home," it said.
"Water is always convenient," USDA added. "Fill a clean, reusable water bottle and toss it in your bag or brief case to quench your thirst throughout the day. Reusable bottles are also easy on the environment."
