Play a Banjo - Go to Jail
Especially if you oppose Obama's war in Syria.
There are murderers and thieves roaming the halls of Congress . . . I mean, roaming the streets of Philadelphia. But the cops appear to be more interested in banjo playing Iraq vets.
Emily Yates, a two tour of duty U. S. veteran, was protesting a potential military strike on Syria on Saturday at a rally in Philadelphia. After the rally, while at Independence Mall, Yates was standing with her banjo under a tree when the Federal Parks Police arrested her for no apparent reason.
The Examiner spoke with a witness who filmed the incident and posted the video on YouTube. He said there were a "few dozen" other people around at the time and explained that the bizarre arrest occurred "about an hour or so before a Pro-Marijuana rally that was also going to take place in that area," reports the Examiner.
The witness indicated that he started filming because he "saw her [Yates] being confronted and thought something saucy might happen because those park police are known for using force." On the video, one can clearly see that Yates is not being violent or resisting arrest in any way. Additionally, the Federal Parks Police did not tell her why they were arresting her.
The narrator of the film pointed out a comment made by the police at the 1:16 minute mark. One of the officers was holding her foot and disrespectfully asked, "Is she a fish, game or wildlife?"
The First Amendment to the Constitution cites the "right of the people peaceably to assemble." Was Emily Yates not being peaceful?
A Must Watch Video
This video is very hard to watch. Big Government is frightened to death of
ideas freely spoken to the public.

Notice how they are trained like brownshirt Nazis. Better get used to it.
In a short time the US has gone from Wyatt Earp to the simple cop walking the beat to para-military troops in body armor.
